The silliest science fiction comedy of all time is finally coming to DVD. The short-lived 1970s show Quark bounced between parodying Star Wars and Star Trek, and just making up its own demented jokes about Ficus the plant guy. We were pleased to discover we weren't the only ones who loved this show, when we posted a clip from it in February. The network greenlit Boldly Going Nowhere, a new comedy from the creators of It's Always Sunny In Philadephia, which deals with the mundane lives of a starship crew. Says one of the creators, "We grew up watching shows like Star Trek, anything having to do with the future, and it was always about the adventures they'd go on. We thought it would be funny to watch what goes on in between those adventures, when they're waiting for the next big thing to happen." More »
