A bunch of giant robots are coming to Earth, and they're about to judge us for our nasty ways. There will be killing and car chases and awesome 1980s teen stars like Judd Nelson and C. Thomas Howell. Oh yes . . . in fact, C. Thomas Howell is directing the soon-to-be-classic, straight-to-DVD flick where all this happens. It's called The Day the Earth Stopped. Pretty clever, eh? Basically it's a direct ripoff of The Day the Earth Stood Still, and yet it sounds much better — at least according to one of the actors who blogged about this secret production. More »
