In honor of <a href="http://io9.com/5286697/duncan-jones-moon-will-rise-in-additional-cities"><em>Moon</em></a>, opening today, we went kinda loony (get it?) coming up with our favorite lunar scenes in film and TV. (We restricted the list to our own planet's moon; sorry, Saturn and Endor fans.) <a class="autolink" title="Click here to read more posts tagged OMAR NAIM" title="Click here to read more posts tagged OMAR NAIM" href="http://io9.com/tag/omar-naim/">Omar Naim</a>, the Lebanese-American director who made his debut with 2004's <a href="http://io9.com/5040800/how-to-please-your-girlfriend-the-necro+voyeurism-way">demented necro-voyeurism film</a> <em><a class="autolink" title="Click here to read more posts tagged THE FINAL CUT" title="Click here to read more posts tagged THE FINAL CUT" href="http://io9.com/tag/the-final-cut/">The Final Cut</a></em>, is working on another science fiction movie, <a href="http://twitter.com/prodweek/status/1286736135">according to Production Weekly</a>. <em><a class="autolink" title="Click here to read more posts tagged THE OLD WORLD" title="Click here to read more posts tagged THE OLD WORLD" href="http://io9.com/tag/the-old-world/">The Old World</a></em> tells the story of the last human assassin, in a world where all the other assassins are robots now. Here's hoping it's as twisted and thought-provoking as <em>The Final Cut</em>, but without quite so much heavy-handed speechifying. If you could replay all of a person's memories like DVDs, would you be God? Or just a shriveled up voyeur? In the movie <em>The Final Cut</em>, almost everybody has a brain implant that records every experience, from birth to death, and then when you die, Robin Williams edits your entire life into a sanitized 90-minute compilation, for your family and friends. But in his spare time, Williams' character watches the memories of his girlfriend Mira Sorvino's dead boyfriend, to pick up some hints — and she's not too thrilled when she finds out. Of the several Robin Williams-creepy voyeur movies from the <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0265459/">past</a> <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0762114/">decade</a>, this is one of the best, although maybe not as awesome as <em><a href="http://io9.com/373655/share-your-sex-memories-with-all-your-coworkers">Brainstorm</a></em>. [<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364343/">IMDB</a>] <a href="http://io9.com/5040800/how-to-please-your-girlfriend-the-necro+voyeurism-way" title="Click here to read more about How To Please Your Girlfriend, The Necro-Voyeurism Way">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>

Director David Fincher has a movie coming out in November called <em>The Curious Case of Benjamin Button</em>, based on the story of the same name by F. Scott Fitzgerald (you know the guy who wrote <em>The Great Gatsby</em>, that book you read in AP English). It's about a man who is born in his 80s and ages backward. If you think this sounds familiar, then you're probably remembering Mork From Ork's son Mearth from <em>Mork & Mindy</em>. Come on, admit it. You know you are. We compare and contrast the two below. Nanu Nanu! <a href="http://io9.com/339875/f-scott-fitzgerald-vs-mork-from-ork" title="Click here to read more about F. Scott Fitzgerald Vs. Mork From Ork">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>
