Are you a teen who wants to write scifi and fantasy? There’s still time to sign up for the summer "Shared Worlds" workshop!

Every year, author Jeff VanderMeer organizes a two-week workshop for teens devoted to worldbuilding. It's called "Shared Worlds," and this summer's workshop at Wofford College in South Carolina still has some vacancies.

VanderMeer writes in to say:

We have the awesome Nnedi Okorafor, Minister Faust, and Ekaterina Sedia as some of our writer guests this year (in addition to me and Ann VanderMeer, and gaming genius Will Hindmarch).

It's truly the only writing camp of its kind in the world, as far as we can tell. Nowhere else can a teen build a world one week and write in it in the next, and have one-on-one consults with pro writers, all kinds of writing advice, get a critique, have their work collected in a book at the end, etc.

This is truly one of the coolest things you could do with part of your summer vacation. Find out more, and sign up, on the Shared Worlds website.
