We thought we knew everything there was to know about Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, plotwise. But now, what started off as an origin story and ended in a alien showdown between Kat-El and General Zod has fleshed out into something much more comic book-centered, thanks to presence of this new character. Spoilers!
Ain't It Cool News is reporting that nefarious Superman villain Lex Luthor is 100% in Man of Steel. The bald bastard is being played by actor Mackenzie Gray (who has confirmed only his presence in the film, never his character name). AICN's sources describe Gray's Luthor as a "an ambitious, ego driven and cold version of Luthor." So hopefully, he'll be scary as opposed to comical.
And on an interesting side note, Gray has already played a Luthor clone in Smallville, which is kind of great. Honestly, we can't think of any other character he could play, can you?
