Perhaps if there had been a Christmas episode of Firefly, Kaylee would have made a gingerbreadish version of her home, the starship Serenity, out of some ghastly protein substance. But this gingerbread Serenity looks plenty good enough to eat.

Firefly fan Kristogger Gressli spent a few days building this Joss Whedon-inspired treat with his brother. He even included a few photos to give us an idea of their process — although someone will have to let me on the secret of baking cylindrical gingerbread.
