The beginning of the trailer is like my commute. I'm less scared than annoyed.

    Hmmm. Good News Bad News.

Good News, it stars Amy Smart who thankfully really likes to take her clothes off in films.

Bad News, when FearNet eventually shows this on OnDemand, which is the only place it will ever be seen, chances are some enormous bloody knife or Tentacle Logo Bug will pop up and block half the screen and therefor her norks.

Which makes me think- Isn't there ALWAYS a shortage of Jergens when Amy Smart is on-screen?

I'm more surprised that Hollywood allows Asian males to do something besides act as sexless gnomes, giggling ninnies or thug number 12. Wow I wonder if Tim even gets to touch a woman, let alone a white woman...

@ManchuCandidate: Yeah, it'll be nice when Asians get to be more than Triad/Yakuza members, Kung Fu masters, or background tourists in most movies. Or when the phrase "love you long time" and L's turned to R's will stop being associated with all Asians, everywhere.

@kagekiri: Even when all those other things stop happening, mixing up L's and R's will always be associated with Asians. It's a linguistic thing, not a race thing.

Man, Amy brings the sexy/crazy/funny to whatever she does. Amy Smart pole-dancing Win!

    "Corey Haim...

...He was so grateful to be back at work after all of this time"

    Ha! ouch.

And even though he had a small part - Dwight Yoakam was really funny in the last one, glad to see he's back too.

The greatest thing about the first movie, is that they are all full of bullshit and swagger and adrenaline.

This replaces plot, and characterization. I will be there opening day with a big bag of popcorn.

I always say this, but I think in Crank 3 he should have to drink blood to survive.

Even though it sounds like vampire, the way they do these movies it could be very comedic.

Ok...so...um...I don't know that there is a way to put this delicately, but according to IMDB she is 42 years old. How is that possible? How can she possibly...I mean...look at her...but 42? I'm stymied.

I am seething with jealousy. There are a few people in this world that get loved for no apparent reason, and Bai Ling is one of them.

I don't like Bai Ling either...

But what I like in Crank 2 is that the movie was shot with a $3500 camera, a Canon XH-A1 prosumer camera. While their "crash cams", were the Canon HF100 that cost less than $800 these days. Very ambitious project to bring down costs! And having watched the 1080p trailer, it looks good, even with the lack of shallow depth of field.

@Eugenia: You really think so? I saw the trailer in 1080 and wondered why a studio release looked like such crap. I didn't know they shot it with such cheap equipment, but at least the crap picture makes sense to me now.
