And here I was all ready to Sailor Kick your asses for maybe forgetting Sailor Moon on the bling action. Bravo, a well researched piece. But her Moon Brooch is where the real bling is at!
Bling? Whatcha know about bling? How could you leave out the biggest Jesus Piece of them all: the Lens that the Galactic Patrol rocks in EE "Doc" Smith's Lensmen.
@Smeagol92055: R.O.A.C.H.: The original post-Crisis Luthor developed cancer from the ring. His hand was amputated, but the cancer spread anyway. There isn't anything canon about his hand being "melted" by Supes (maybe you saw it in an animated adaptation?).
The Secrets of Isis (also called simply, "Isis") starred JoAnna Cameron as Andrea Thomas, a high school science teacher who found an ancient mystical amulet on an archeological dig in Egypt. The amulet belonged to Hatshepsut, an ancient Egyptian Queen and it gave the wearer the powers of Isis. Andrea, by virtue of being able to open the casing in which the amulet rested, was recognized as an heir to Isis's secrets. Whenever Isis was needed, Andrea would reveal the amulet and incite an incantation ("Oh, mighty Isis!") and she would be transformed into the goddess Isis.
@OldDog1: "Oh zephyr winds that blow on high, lift me now so I can fly."
Can't believe I remember that. Isis was very similar to She-Ra. I thought initially "rip off!" when I first saw She-Ra, but they were both creations of Filmation.
