@John: Rathbone and Jeremy Brett did fulfill the image of Holmes that Doyle described, but the illustrations by Sidney Pachet are the real deal. The forthcoming movie will be a lot of fun and all, but Robert Downey Jr. will never be my image of Holmes. Heck, he's only, what, 4'12"?
