I have the Kindred DVDs. And Ultraviolet. And...man, I'm getting tired of vamps. Zombies are the other over-used monster(s), but they haven't done any shows with that.
Someone should make a zombie series, The Walking Dead or something, hell Jeremiah + zombies.
@bitgod: Ooops, now that I say that, I happened to be looking at the wiki for The Walking Dead and it mentions there's a series in production. Looks like AMC sometime next year. Time to bug DirecTV to get AMC in HD.
I'm relying on the BBC to supply me with all my Christmastime entertainment. Now that's a nation that has it's priorities straight! Christmas means special episodes of *everything*!
@samarkand: On that list, I haven't been able to figure out Voyage of the Damned and why that's included. The rest are from this year, or have some implications for End of Time.
I know the Christmas specials typically air on or around Christmas day, but why that one now? Does Midshipman Frame have a key role in End of Time, perhaps?
@Magicant: Russell Tovey showed up on a casting list, so I think all signs point to "yes." I've only just forgiven him for being in Voyage of the Damned (the only new Who episode I'd like to strike from existence forever) because of his amazingness in Being Human, so I am looking forward to seeing Midshipman Frame again if indeed he's in the final specials.
@samarkand: Maybe it's because Donna's grandfather Wilf first appears in VOTD? Granted, they didn't know when they made that episode that he would end up being Donna's grandfather, but it's possible that it's relevant to this year's story somehow.
Please refrain from using the phrase "Uncut Time Lords" in article titles on Monday mornings, especially when there's still a Sexy/Evil John Simm Pic on the front page.
I dunno, I thought this was one of the weaker episodes. It just all felt a little too... standard; nowhere near the imaginative thrills we got in Season 1. The only things that really stuck out in my mind in this ep was the Bat-Mech and Batman's plan to get all the heroes teleported onto Warmoon.

"Alonso who?" just doesn't have the same ring to it.
