I'm just picking up Dr. Horrible this week. There's nothing else on my radar until next week, and my wallet couldn't be happier about that. #alienlegion
Tell you what. Every time Io9 runs a Whedon-related article, we have to down a six-pack. We should all be dead of alcohol poisoning in no time. #alienlegion
Jesus...is that a NEW Black Mask or the same one that Selena SHOT IN THE FACE!?! Seriously, the fact that she murdered him was so important to the last year of her book, how can they go and just get rid of all of that?
I'm glad to hear they brought Harper over from Robin. It seemed like they were grooming her to become a new recognizable cop in the vein of Bullock and Montoya, so glad to see she isn't forgotten.
@Gaambit: I think it's meant to be a new Black Mask. In fact, I think there's a decent chance that it's supposed to be Jason Todd, although that only barely makes sense in the context of the Battle for the Cowl books, seeing as they really seem to be in two different places at once.
Rucka lived down the hall from me in college. He was one of the scary Campus Patrol supervisors who brought the hammer down on me when I called the "radio" a "walkie-talkie" one night. On the positive side, he was also a big Joe Jackson fan.
Boy, he's gotten really popular, it seems. I've been out of comics long enough I've basically missed his entire career. An Eisner, even.
I thought some of Rucka's detective fiction featured a lesbian lead as well, but a brief Wiki-ing seems to find that's not the case. I wonder why I thought so.
@Lassus: Queen And Country has a strong female lead, but she's not lesbian IIRC. However, he has written 10,000 stories and comics about lesbian protagonists, especially Renee Montoya, who used to date Batwoman. (Again, IIRC.)

Also, was the Oracle tie-in just an excuse for that ridiculous shot down her shirt? Stay classy DC.
