    If they were the first (modern) cylons, why then are they called "the final five" and not "the first five"? In BSG even the other cylons called them the final five. that's just silly.

    @Michael_GR: Maybe because they were the final five cylons to survive the destruction of the original Earth? Like they were the last of the Cylons until they built the new models? That's my best guess.

    @iameleveneight: Looks like it. I have a hard time believing either


    1) the word Frak developed 4000 years ago and was brought to the colonies by the final 5 or

    2) the word developed independently.


    That really was my biggest problem with the finale. Why would English be used by the colonists, then forgotten, then used again.
