    I don't like comic adaptations of episodes of television shows. I want comics based on TV shows to explore things we don't see on screen. I already saw A Hole In The World. Comic adaptations of books can be fun, because they provide a visual to something that had only been in my head before, but adaptations of TV episodes feel like they're just asking for my money.

    @alixana: I agree and I am sitting here wondering why, especially now after all this time, they are revisiting this particular episode?

    Are they adding anything extra to it, filling things in or just adapting the story exactly as aired to comic.

    If the latter I am wondering what the point is and why not just go get the DVD if someone wants to see that story again?

    @Motoki: I'm not sure...they did Smile Time a while back, I think that was the first time I noticed an episode being adapted. I wavered back and forth about buying it because Smile Time was just hilarious. But then I decided that hello, I already knew the storyline, and if I wanted to see it again, I could do what you suggested and just pop the DVD in.

    I would personally recommend "Murderer #1". A unique story, with an interesting protagonist.

    It's part of Top Cow's Pilot Season. Hopefully it'll get picked up. I for one want to read more.

    @Cash907Censored: The nudity thematically reminded me of Stargate SG-1, which had nudity in its debut on Showtime but didn't show so much flesh again in the years that ensued.

    I think I'd go with Rusty and Donna, and add Yorrick, Rodney McKay and The Middleman. As far as computer games go, I'd like to tip my hat to Nathan Drake in Uncharted, he's a damn cool guy. The banter between the characters in Uncharted 2 had me in stitches so many times I had to do-over several levels.

    Surprised McKay isn't getting a lot of shouts here so far, btw.

    I'm going to go outside the box and say Columbus from Zombieland. It was really refreshing to see a main character stuck in a Zombie situation who lived by a sensible and logical code, instead of running around like a goddamned idiot.

    Didn't SyFy already air the Caprica pilot? I saw the last 15 minutes on the SyFy channel on my Virgin America flight from LAX to SEA this past Saturday, so I thought it was already airing. Anyone else catch this airing, is the in flight entertainment system on the Virgin planes so awesome that they can see into the future?

    @Batmanuel: Hmm. That is weird, unless I'm wrong about it airing before... I though the first actual air date was going to be when the series premieres in January.

    Maybe it's some kind of promotion SyFy is doing?

    Or you could watch Bladerunner and the Godfather back-to-back while looking at old issues of Penthouse and old cigarette ads. Then go out and have a really intense discussion about religion. It amounts to the same thing.
