Mead talks about the many alternate openings he created for the movie (one of which was deemed "too Holocaust" by the studio), as well as the "erotic machine" he crafted for replicant Zhora, a kind of breast-shaped dreampod that got cut when director Ridley Scott hit the outer limits of his budget. Syd explains he envisioned the world of Blade Runner as a place "you wouldn't want to be for too long," and describes the challenges of designing for "a love story with moralistic underpinnings... if we could actually make people, would we treat them like dishwashers? Enitech has discovered a way to photograph pictures of the future using "tachyons." At first they just see newspapers that are several months in the future, but slowly they begin getting pictures of San Francisco in a post-apocalyptic state. And then they start getting stalked by robots. Each episode contains a puzzle, and this special BoingBoing TV episode of the ARG is no exception. Peek below to get the secret subliminal message.

What does it mean? Why are those robots chasing everybody? Will San Francisco really be reduced to a pile of rubble? Maybe if the Sarah Connor Chronicles is renewed, we'll find out.
