    I tried but I still don't really see anything in the photos remotely dune-ish.


    If you search and replace the word Dune with Darth Vader / Matrix / Vampires, it'll probably have the same result: art that needs to be explained first.

    I think the missing eyebrows are a Lynchian take on the Bene Gesserit thing. Didn't all them Gesserits shave off their eyebrows or something? I kinda recall that.

    @Garrison Dean: If you touch them, they'll break. They're literally skin and bones and probably are cold to the touch and have that fuzz all over their skin that anorexics get.
