    Sorry, that 2nd image is one of Templesmith's leprechauns. They are supposed to look that way.

    No, I'm not kidding.

    Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse is pure unbridled awesome.

    It's basically what you'd get if Hellboy was written by Warren Ellis following a sprawling 3-day drunk, without a single aspirin left in the house.

    If you enjoy Fell, I highly recommend it.

    Hollywood should just had over large sacks of money to Templesmith to make a movie every year.

    @Misterbadexample: No, it's a particular artistic style.

    I don't fault Templesmith for using it, since he can draw, and it ends up looking beautiful.

    Brian Michael Bendis used to do something very similar in his early work, where he'd take photos of various buildings, objects, and "models", then run them through an old mimeograph machine until they got that particularly ultra-contrasty look to them.

    The brilliant minds over at BBC are toying with the idea of a new TARDIS concept to accompany the new Doctor, Matt Smith. Elizabeth Saxon of Cardiff proclaims "it's a bloody brilliant move! Anyone can buy a chip butty, some tea and a bap no matter what century it is. I mean I can wear my tracky bottoms and wellies out to fetch me a latte even."

    But don't forget that all good things come in 3's. We know we have a new Doctor, a new TARDIS and a new companion is in the hopper. Rumors are flying that Lily Allen will be the next companion.

    @0kami:

    chip butty = chip (french fry) Sandwhich.

    Bap = bread roll

    Tracy bottoms = tracksuit leggings

    Wellies = Wellington (rubber) boots

    Latte = overpriced coffee

    Lily Allen = female impersonator.

    this is not a serious comment guys.

    The art looks like unfinished photosketches. Which is only slightly better than the flash-illustration look from other issues.

    Ben Templesmith's individual panels are beautiful, when he's asked to draw action, the beauty overwhelms the Big Punching. It's a problem with a lot of current comics, I find.
