I'm sure since they got burned on HD-DVD there just isn't the money in switching that to Blu Ray right now.

You're dealing with a niche technology for a niche show. I'd think you'd probably have a higher amount of fans of the show with Blu Ray then the average pop but I still don't know if they'd make up the money they lost on HD-DVD buy releasing early seasons on Blu Ray.

@tande04: compounding the problem is the expense of systems capable of warrenting blu-ray. if a consumer has droped that much on equipment and is interested in the show it's not to big a strech that they'll be willing to buy the DVDs now in addition to a complete blu-ray package later. this way they get consumers to purchase the same product twice because they already know anyone willing to pay more for blu-ray probably has enough cash to be willing to pay for DVDs on top of that.
