Remind me to begin drafting that love note to Henry Rollins, thanking him for getting me through high school, then the 90s, and now doin' cool stuff like Batman.
Oh great, now when I see that Batman episode with Rollins in it, I'm gonna keep getting the mental image of Batman getting tied to a chain link fence and gang raped...
(I can't be the only person here watching Sons of Anarchy right?)
@Lassus: I'm curious about it rather than excited, as I really didn't get on with The Infinite Quest (Great visuals, bad script). You never know, it might be fun.
I heard that image with Matthew Fox is from a scene in the new season where Jack steps out into the road and gets run over by Kate in a hijacked taxi cab.
@twophrasebark: You forgot the part where he is placed into a coffin and then brought back to the island. There he becomes undead like his father with whom he makes peace with and then lives happily ever after with Locke as Ben periodically peers out at them suspiciously from behind the bushes.
@cljohnston108: I think a clip was shown at FrightFest...but it's nowhere online...
and I think the name is being changed to "Hybrid" - at least outside of North America
Pandorum and Zombieland both look awesome. Cant wait for those 2 nuggets of goodness.
Doctor Who's Dreamland is getting me very excited, this along with the 2 specials in 2009 have got my heart racing!!!
Henry Rollins should be in everything, including Spiderman 4. Maybe Rollins and Campbell as 2 nasty villians!
Sanctuary season 1 finished in the UK a while ago. I actually enjoyed it but I was extremly anoyed at the time slot...esspecially when im working early the next morn.
Twilight!!! Twilight, twilight, twilight. Where do I start. How much lighting and make up does that guy need (if he's a guy). Talk about pre-teen pin up for the idiot generation! New Moon can bugger off. Bring on Wolfman, a proper werewolf film with guts.
Smallville. Yawn. Come on clark, wear that damn cape already. Whats with that god awful sprayed T-Shirt. Love how Zod looks like an Iron Man reject..haha!!
Wow, this all sonds great! One character I'd really like to see on this show, who I think would fit right into this, is Starman - the Jack Knight-one. With his goggles and his quips and dissing Batman for wearing his briefs on top of his pants. Would be hilarious!
I like this animated version of Batman (and I also enjoyed the one prior to this, The Batman). But I also think Warners should allow for another Batman animated series to be produced for an older audience -- perhaps an anime-inspired one for AdultSwim.
@thewriteguy: I don't know how time consuming or expensive of a production it would be, but a series that followed the same tone and one of the styles of Gotham Knight (without trying to exist in the films' continuity) would be fantastic.
Especially if they could pool in more of the comic series' most prominent writers like Brubaker, Vaughn, Dixon, and Rucka.
@thewriteguy: I actually prefer The Batman to this. Everything was spot on in the show. This just never grabs my attention, no matter how many times I try and watch.
@geiko: I never could give The Batman a fair shake cause I was always bitter about the Bat-Embargo.
Although I did happen to catch the movie/ arc that featured Dracula and was really impressed. Especially with the animation and fight scenes. I also liked the idea of Bats having retractable claws on the fingertips of his gloves.
Superman didn't show up until issue #150 of the comic book series and they should think of it in those terms. But it is one of the most awesome shows ever. Detective Chimp!
And I love the quiet diss to the haters "Batman goes back further than 1989."

I think it just might be subjective, and the stills look dull. I think I like experimental animation and very little that tries to look real.

All the other Losties are like "What? What island?"
Then the credits roll. The end.

There'd be a twist.
