    She is still able to learn on some basic level if she recognizes people. Presumably if one's brain stopped ageing at a more mature point, like 21 or some such, the learning ability would be more advanced too, perhaps even completely normal. So this doesn't mean you'll forever be the same person you were when you were chronologically 21, if you could somehow remain 21 forever through some treatment based on this strange condition. You would still learn, which means you would still change and develop as a person. Of course in the long run problems might still come up, but it would still buy you lots of time... perhaps time enough to see even those more difficult problems be solved. Honestly, if somehow it were possible to do this for adult human beings - and (this would be the even harder part, probably) without any severe side effects or illnesses - I'd gladly sign up. I don't look forward to growing older and older... There is far too much to do, and never enough time. :P

    i'm pretty sure our brains reach full development around 21, so i highly doubt that if the aging process were reversed from 60-21, that there would be a loss of "wisdom" or anything.

    @SowndOfDeth: Well, it is true. Past around that age the brain is forever in steady decline in terms of learning capacity, and 'processing power' for want of a better term. 'Wisdom' is really about the accumulation of more knowledge and vast amounts of data-mining the connections between everything - if anything a 60 year old with the brain of a 21 year old would be far wiser than normal because they'd have the ability to grow wiser faster.

    Cool until you think about it. Then its really cool. I would give almost any thing to be 8 again. Summers seemed to last forever, every thing was funner, few responsibilities, hide and seek was easier. I am not seeing any any draw backs.


    oh and WOLVERINE IS A GIRL!!!!!!!!!! When do her bone claws come out?

    I was reminded of my college days, when someone actually told me, at the end of the Spring quarter, "DUDE, WE'RE GONNA MAKE THIS AN ENDLESS SUMMER!!!"


    All I could think was the temporal impossibilities as this trucker hat wearing chucklefuck clearly was lacking in certain cognizant abilities, and when he finally received his "Communications" Major, the most dramatic choice he would have to make in his life would be what Top100 radio station he should listen to while serving smoothies at Robek's.
