I can't wait for the revelation that the original Tron was all just a bad dream Jeffrey Lebowski had in 1981 after playing a marathon session of Asteroids under the influence of some bad marijuana brownies.

@Polybius: It's a computer system. There were backups. They deleted that MCP, but there may well have been copies of him in other locations. Kingdom Hearts 2 uses this to bring the MCP, Sark, and Tron back. I know that we shouldn't consider Kingdom Hearts in the same actual continuity, but the idea is solid.
