    Paris? Really?

I'd expect the capital of the 3rd largest nuclear power would be a prime target in almost any global nuclear war. Pretty dubious about survivors in ad-hoc bunkers.

Ok, so to stretch an idea from a previous page to the breaking point: this is about a woman trying to escape her situation, yet it is not escapist. This was by no means something that enabled me to escape everyday cares or long term fears and just enjoy the moment. Rather, it made me think a lot, and I did not enjoy the moment. That moment sucked. Sure makes you think.

UGGGGGH. Hey, filmakers, you know how your audio guy kept trying to tell you that your main character's voice was 'out of phase' and you laughed at him. Yeah, you shouldn't have done that.

    Audio matters people.

maybe something was lost in the translation but if they had spent half the time they spent on sets writting decent dialogue this might not have failed so miserably.

Well I thought that was rather predictable. Nicely done, but predictable. I do love the quality of films done with the RED cameras though.

'Ok so here's the story...mad scientist captures hot teens and......wait for it....sews them together!'
    - What do you mean sews them together
'Like ass to face kinda deal, it'll be so cool!' - ...
So, these actors will spend part of the movie....let me get this straight, with there faces stuck to someones ass? -
    'Yea! awesome isn't it?'
    - We'll be leaving now -
I can only imagine how desperate you are for an acting job to participate in this movie.

Surely the point about the arseface centipede film is not "why would someone make it" but rather "why wouldn't they?"

It is inevitable that at some point in time someone would make the arseface centipede film. You just happen to be living in that time.

But on the plus side, you can look back in years to come and say "I was there".

@BeastOfGevaudan: Surveillance wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible. Filmmakers, like everyone else, have to learn their craft and that takes a while. Not everyone is born with perfect talent. But so far, hiss looks pretty great.

And I'm a jerk, but even I find your first sentence disgusting. You might want to rethink your mind if you're actually writing things that I find distasteful.

@Pope John Peeps II: Not, but, unlike her, most of them aren't born with the capacity to raise enough money to shot whatever crap they think of, and only develop that capacity after they learn the craft by making hundreds of crappy shorts that don't even make it to dvd

@Pope John Peeps II: The trailer for Surveillance was awesome, made it look like it was going to good, but turns out it wasn't. The same thing is going to happen with Hiss.

And really? You're upset at that? Welcome to the Internet, there is much much worse here.
