... So why does everyone slide across the floor when the ship lists to one side? Shouldn't artificial gravity be relative to the ship, not the universe?
Should I just enjoy the movie and visual gags for what they are? ;)
@Parkington: Actually, it would've been a tad better, even if a bit esoteric for the kids, if it was done with some control on the console rather than Auto's wheel. Turning the wheel to affect the gravity like that was a bit on the "meh" side. But whatever. I loved the movie despite this, but....still....it's there...taunting me.
AWWWWW HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That was really cute, now where is the spinoff of the robots with the malfunctions (especially the one hitting itself with the tray).
That 2nd picture made me realize how Star Wars seems to've been a big inspiration in ship design. Think I was too distracted to notice during the movie, since I realizing how spookily WALL-E seemed to remind myself of- well- me! Right down to the blue-eyed love interest that doesn't pay attention to him at the start.
Wait..._three_-disc DVD? Is that supposed to somehow make up for the stripped-down chump releases of both Cars and Ratatouille, neither of which even came with friggen commmentary?
@AmishJohn: I hope so. Disney pissed me the hell off when they decided to try to push the Blu-Ray format on bonus-feature-lovers like myself with their dirty tactic of stripping all the standard bonus features out of the DVD releases. Okay, sure, DVD can't do picture-in-picture. I can live without it. But I want the quantity, dammit.
