A confrontation with Cavil/bad cylons is inevitable, as we all know right now. He's out to get them wherever they go. And he and Boomer knew exactly how to find their fleet.

In an interview in the latest edition of the UK mag DeathRay, producer/writer David Eick says: "I'm probably most proud of the fact that I think we were able to answer most of the questions that we'd raised over the years. We resolved most of the mysteries of the show, and at the same time gave a resolution to all the character arcs."
So that's *most* of the questions answered, *most* of the mysteries solved, and *all* of the character arcs resolved. That will do for me, I think. I would rather have something to ponder once the final credits have rolled, than have everything tied up neatly. I often find when writers try to tie up everything neatly, they get themselves in knots.
I'm hoping that one of the mysteries they *don't* try to solve is 'All Along the Watchtower." I've always thought that it was a bad idea, and any attempt to explain it, I fear, will be even more ridiculous than the song's inclusion in the first place. In the same edition of DeathRay that I mention above, RDM admits that he's obsessed with the song, and that he'd been trying to work it into one of his projects for years (including Roswell). So...no resonance with the story, then, just a song shoe-horned into the plot to satisfy a personal obsession. Ok, I'll grant you that one indulgence RDM, but I truly hope you haven't tried to explain it.

Cavil must still have a large portion of Centurions that have not had their inhibitors removed. Here's my guess. At the end of last week's episode, Adama said "let's get to work." My guess is they will find a way to disable the inhibitors on Cavil's Centurions remotely en masse, and they'll be the last minute turn of event that save the day for the humans and good Cylons, like the Cardassians switching sides at the last minute in the finale of DS9.

Six confesses to Baltar in the pilot/miniseries, but how did that info (in some form or another) get to Adama?

The skinjobs offered to redesign the, then old-skool, centurions and tricked them by adding a time-delayed stupidation-device, so that when all centurions had new bodies, they could gain control over them by the flick of a switch. That's what I'd do. I'd also definately be D'Anna/Lucy Lawless, who rocked most in the last frakking special.

1. Not answered - Olmos's movie
2. 8 to 5 no answer
3. Even money, answered - black hole-related
4. Not answered
5. Last act before death or series end is selfless
6. Answered vaguely as "special, spiritual beings"
7. Not answered, just already-alluded-to oppression and fighting.
8. 3-1 answered by Cavil re-programming some of them. (I would LOVE if we hear from some sentient Centurions in the finale)
9. Why's and How's of cylon reproduction answered, but not the "love" question, which was basically just Ellen yammering.
10. Could have answered that in Expositionalooza, but didn't, so I'm giving it 12-1
11. Good odds on an answer, 8-5 they do (although not what the answer is, yes or no, no idea.)
12. 20-1 a connection to our own "Watchtower" song.
