    @Belabras ate my dingo!: That wouldn't be just a quick cameo, but a serious part, and they're almost certainly going to be a mixture of animatronics and CGI, in any case. No, I think he'll be one of the goblins in the lair of the Great Goblin - perhaps the one who explains how they found the dwarves at their gate. #shazam

    I can't wait to see Smaug. I spent a lot of time in grade 3 (my teacher was awesome and read The Hobbit out loud to us, a great way to get kids into reading - almost every one of my classmates went on to read The Lord of the Rings) trying to draw him with little success.

    I really hate everything I read about the new love interests for Chuck and Sarah. It just seems so wrong considering the direction things were going at the end of season two. Still, I'll be patient and give it a chance. And as long as I get my weekly dose of Casey I won't be going anywhere.

    As for V - it has promise (at least it has driven me away with boredom a la SGU), but is anyone else finding the dialogue really, really cringe worthy awful at points? There are times when I feel embarrassed for the actors. #shazam

    Look, Hollywood, I love Ryan Reynolds as much as any straight dude can, but he is not meant for every superhero movie out there. I'm sure the reason Whedon got the boot from Wonder Woman is Warner Brothers wanted to hire Reynolds for the part. #shazam

    @icy_one: agreed, it seems since he gave a semi-decent performance as Deadpool, the whole world thinks he should play every single super hero ever conceived. at the end of the day he's really not that good an actor. #shazam

    @dethklokso: I thought he was brilliant in The Nines and I really dug his performance as Hannibal King in Balde 3. In my opinion, he was the one saving grace of Blade 3. #shazam

    This may be a week old Feature but I would just like to say Ben 10 and Ben 10: Alien Force are some of the best superhero 'toons around. Yes, I am an adult that likes to watch Ben 10, and like any of you don't watch something that can be considered childish...jeez

    To be fair, "Mentor" was originally the proper name of a character from the Odyssey. Given the ties with Greek mythology, it's not impossible that that's what they were going for.

    Odd trivia: Birds of Prey's Barbara Gordon = Dizzy from "Starship Troopers".

    Lois & Clark is about a hundred fold better then Smallville. Its just pure fun.

    For that mater though, I found the start of Heroes this season infinitely suppiour to Smallville as well.
    Smallvile has ideas, but it rarely knows how to have fun. And when it tries to be serious, it falls flat on its face.

    @twDarkflame: Ironically, the lead actor from Smallville was so much better than Dean Cain. He actually was cast on Lois & Clark -- until they found he was on the series it was replacing!
