    I don't know, Anthony Ainley's Master came up with some pretty retardedly convoluted schemes during his run on Doctor Who.


    Take The King's Demons for example:


    The Master comes up with a brilliant ploy to slightly embarrass King John by... erm... using a robotic duplicate to behave like a total dick to a bunch of people in a remote castle, while the real king is miles away taking the Crusader's oath in London, in front of dozens of respectable witnesses.


    Apparently, this will rob the world of Magna Carta, or something, which will give The Master bragging rights the next time he goes out for beers with the Mandragora Helix.


    I love how in this episode, even The Doctor seems to realize that The Master is a bit off his game, and just yoinks the robot the first chance he gets, then buggers off in the TARDIS. Leaving the master to stand around and shuffle his feet like a kid who's just been told he can't have his frisbee back.

    Wow... Is it just me, or does that irritating kid look EXACTLY like Mighty Max, now with added puberty? (And, if I'm not mistaken, the voice of Ma Ti from Captain Planet.)

    Oh god I remember when this was on television. SO GREAT.


    It didn't hurt that I had the videogame for my ancient ancient computer. Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego was always my favorite; it felt so much like a Choose Your Own Adventure book. :D


    I also loved how she and the detectives each had a chronoskimmer. Wow. This takes me back. :D
