Alright, here's a serious question. If all the Doctors are the same person, just in different bodies, why don't they all act the same? (Besides the obvious, "They're different actors, dummy." I mean is there anything in the canon that explains this?)
What if he's a parallel Doctor? Leaking over from the Torchwood universe? (I mean, where'd the Cybermen come from, anyway?) It never was established in the show if it's only our universe that has Timelords.
Possible, but I doubt it. There is evidence that the Timelord's exist outside of reality, so there is only one Doctor, one time lord race, one Gallifrey.
@zenseeker: Yes, that's pretty much been subtexted through the whole series. Besides, if there were alt-Timelords, the Doctor would be somewhat less emo about being "The Last of the Timelords!!*"
