I'd almost have expected this to be a companion piece to World War Z and the Zombie Survival Guide. It's interesting that it's not...is it written in 1st person?

@Jeb_Hoge: It's done diary-style. I'd say it's definitely aimed at people who already own Max Brooks' books, and probably works better viewed as a companion piece to them, even if it technically is not.

I can't wait to check this out.

While many bemoan the popularization of zombies and vampires (and soon werewolves), as it causes a media flood of the shittier varieties of these mythologies, the good part is that it also allows some of the more clever ideas and otherwise ignored writers a shot at publication and mainstream distribution.
