    Josephs Gordon Levitt is seriously talented. See "Brick" or better yet, "Mysterious Skin". That him and Christopher Eccleston are doing a toy movie to make some scratch ain't a bad thing. It lets them do other movies on the cheap.


    Hell, they might even be able to bring some good to it. Though this is a movie by the guy who shat forth "The Mummy", so expectations are very low.

    I'm curious about his casting overall, because I just don't see Cobra Commander as being that...YOUNG? I mean, Gordon-Levitt was born in 1981. I just wonder how they're going to handle him.

    This actually reminds me a little of the DiC Cobra Commander (with the angular helmet). I must be one of only a few who enjoyed the early 1990s G.I. Joe, seeing the popular opinion against it. I don't see much difference between it and the Sunbow episodes beyond the visual style. Admittedly, the last Joe show I've seen of any sort was the movie after I bought it on DVD, years after the cartoons were cancelled.


    I never gave G.I. Joe Extreme a chance. Anybody have an opinion on it?

    @redspidey: Extreme was about as goofy as you'd expect from a show with "Extreme" in the title. One of the Joes had a guitar that shot like, a sonic laser or something.
