This decade was bookended with hyper-realistic, overhyped CGI movies that promised to "change movie-making forever": Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and Avatar. The former is why I can't muster much enthusiasm for the latter.
See, it sounds like there have been a lot of insane superheroes/villains with godlike power running amok the last couple decades--but really every problem has just been called by the same two or three people.

For Zombie Robot Gustave Eiffel and his Tower of Doom see the latter. For a laser eyed, rocket powered crabs see the former.

Also, "Knowing." That seriously remains one of the dumbest movies of all time.

Spidey quoting Tim Gunn, a literal purple nurple, and a Red Lantern kitteh (although are we sure he's not Ceiling Cat?).
These are truly things more comics need.

Also, additional props for including the Dracula-vampire invasion in Captain Britain, one of my favorite Marvel titles in the last couple years.
