    Approved for "appropriate audiences"? What does that mean?

    The film looks OK though. The teaser doesn't make me want to rush out and see it, but it doesn't make me -not- want to either. So, yeah. Maybe I'll wait for the trailer approved for "inappropriate audiences" before I judge any further. ;p #kickass

    I'm usually right there with the rest of the geek squad on these types of movies, but that trailer did nothing for me.

    It just looks like a superhero version of Superbad. Sounds like, well, a super bad idea. #kickass

    It just occurred to me: Are new comics coming Thursday because of Veterans' Day?

    Edit: Oh holy crap, how did I miss this? S.W.O.R.D. #1 comes out this week! Abigail Brand is the second best thing to come out of Joss's run on Astonishing (the best being Armor).

    Oh f*ck that! Sgt. Rock has to be in World War II. Warner Bros. may be abandon the WWII because of potential racism? Bullshit.

    They probably don't see any marketing value in another WWII movie. Instead they may try to make it modern so that the movie can connect with the youths who have grown up watching the Afghan and Iraq War.

    in expectation of the subsequent development that, once you start down the slippery-slope of making it more action-y and sci-fi-ish, you inevitably end up with Will Smith in the title role.

    By rights the part belongs to Tom Sizemore. "Saving Private Ryan" was a goddamned 2 hour audition tape for Sgt Rock. #sgtrock
