i hate that american animation has been trying to mimic anime for the last several years now. either let the japanese do it fully, or try to make it like the books themselves, or even like shows such as Spawn, or the Maxx, or how about the venture bros? comic books these days are trying so hard to have the art as close to photorealistic as possible, that i sorta hate it.

frankly i'm sick of american media for children being dumbed down. when i was a kid i watched stuff like starblazers which was written for all audiences. it was mature. people died (and stayed dead). nowadays the toons aim for 2 year old morons. stop putting children characters in everything. write like the justice league at the very least.

If it's anything like Spectacular Spider-Man (which is pretty amazingly written and animated for a Saturday morning cartoon) I'll give this a shot.
