what's with all the compassion for my worst enemy? you don't know him, he's a dick, and he totally deserves to encounter one of these creatures. creatures i wouldn't want my worst enemy to encounter are different than these creatures. they're more like snuggle-bunnies or cabits. #horror
I find #10 the most disturbing. The rest are the kind of tentacle rape monsters you would expect, but 10 is giving me eerie mixed signals with its disarming clownlike doggy grin on top of an ambiguous menacing body. If I saw it in real life, I'd be torn between wanting to give it a hug and shitting my pants. #horror
@Daumier: Ten is original. Nine is pretty good, too. It reminds me of something that'd live under water, and it's more than a little disorientating. I mean, what is it? A scrawny giant dog-thing with a bunch of hair growing up out of its back? It looks like its little goons are dragging people back to be trapped in there. Kind of like the Shrike or something. Very weird.
Even the artist's _name_ is weird. Lkjhgfdsa? Seriously?
Here's a description from the Concept Art website:
"After the bombs dropped and the radiation began its twisted cycle across the globe, the earth became far more habitable for the Iamos.
Here they can be seen collecting living human hosts for the offspring of the Phagist; the secretions of which are harvested for use in biochemical concoctions pleasing to the Iamos.
The invasive growths of the Phagists oviate slowly hollow out the still living human body before using it as a host-shell.
One would expect this to be a torturous experience indeed."
3 is just the Starship Troopers brain bug with breasts and ejaculating penis tail.. I am honestly shocked at what I am seeing.. Thats quite an imagination
@ThisDudeRufus: We all have brains that want to automatically fill in the blanks. I'm also an editor, so I have to constantly fight against that "filling" tendency in order to catch things. It's harder than one might at first imagine. #horror

There's some good artwork here.
But none of these are as scary as the naked mole-rat in the post just before this one. #horror

But not number 5!! I would put a harness on it and ride it through the desert. Just for laughs! #horror
