Okay, to everyone harping on why they're not touting the latest in fancy schmancy photographic and scientific equipment, it's because they can't afford it due to their 7-11 night shift jobs.
@CmdrHunt: Why didn't the guy that went out to the orb take the camera? Or why didn't the guy with the camera get closer?
IMHO crop circles are works of art, nothing more.
Good job, they can put that up on the flickr account along with the one of them holding up the Tower of Pisa and the one where they crushed someone's head with just their thumb and index finger.
You would think for people who call themselves "investigators", they would have DSLR's with long-range lenses. But instead, they use 3 megapixel camerphones instead.
That really looks like forced perspective. And it looks like a mylar blimp, although I don't think a mylar blimp could hold station very well out of doors. Regardless, this isn't exactly "compelling".
Someone should put together a photography guide for UFO hunters, with helpful tips, like, "A monopod gives stability without sacrificing mobility," and "use a decent DSLR, and practice taking off the cuff shots with it in bad lighting conditions so when you actually see a UFO, you know what the hell you should be doing."

Happy now!?

Call me when it's the UFO that does the touching.

Unless, of course, it's in the shape of a beautiful female. Then I won't mind.

You would think in this day and age of photoshop and decent CGI that people would at least TRY.

Actually, he probably touched the TARDIS. And then it disappeared...

This asswhipe is clearly a government plant, whose task it is to make sure UFO investigators appear to be beer-hatted fricktards.

Why did they only have one camera?
Did they have any instruments with them
to measure any changes in voltage?
And if I'm being really cynical, why is there such a drastic light change between 1 and 2 and 3 and 4?
Still, could be worse. Could be that jellyfish shaped crop cricle predicitng solar doom again:)

Me neither!
"But why couldn't I see it where I was, while Paul could not only see it, he videotaped it for another fifteen minutes?"
Because it was far away from you, you dimwit?
