i just want to read a story with my favorite characters in it. but i don't want to have to read four years worth of other stories for that one story to make sense. what have you got for me?

@bibble3000: Last week's Invincible Iron Man is a pretty good jumping on point, and it includes a recap of recent story events.

@bibble3000: It does, but like most of the books that have "Dark Reign" on the cover, it's not really integral to the story.

There is something really textually ugly about this title.

I'll give Mysterious a go. Also, Green Lantern this week and I'm long overdue for my next migraine...thank goodness the new Superman Beyond will solve that problem for me!

Given the musculature, it might be Venom... or maybe Luke Cage in the symbiont suit?

@NefariousNewt: why would there still be skrull impersonators post-Secret Invasion? that doesn't make any sense...

@falconrugger06: Why does any of it have to make sense? Since when do DC and Marvel have a corner on the market of sensibility? If there are Skrulls left over after the Secret Invasion, so be it.

I know we're meant to think that's Spidey, Hawkeye, Wolverine, Ms. Marvel back in her old costume and some kind of Iron Man/Captain America amalgam...

And yet, I can't help but think this is just a Thunderbolts reskin. Moonstone puts on the old Ms. Marvel costume. That Hawkeye actually turns out to be like Taskmaster or Batroc or somebody. And that wolvie looks a little too clean cut.
