Is there a plan for Evan Rachel Wood to learn how to act before next season?
As for Surrogates, I'm not liking this whole "anti-ghost-in-the-shell" vibe I'm getting off of it. Instead of blurring the lines between the real world, the digital world, and the phenomenon of sensory perception in interesting and thought provoking ways, it's just turning into a ridiculous technophobia "thriller." Cuz it's not like that hasn't been done before or anything. Yeesh... Hollywood saddens me.
See, if the religious nuts were smart, they'd point to Megan & Amanda's kiss on film as proof of there being some benevolent, all knowing super-being answering our prayers.
Oh, and as for Doctor Who and IMDB, any idiot who feels like it can update that thing, and it's been notoriously unreliable in the past. Even The Sun has a better track record!
I agree with jccalhoun. They should absolutely bring William Russell (Ian Chesterton) back for an episode, though I think Wilf may have covered the "conversations between two old men" ground in the final special.
Still, it's be good to see Ian one last time, and a beautiful way of bringing the show full circle, and commenting upon how much the Doctor has changed since those early days.
(Plus he's still just as charming as he was in the 60's, if the DVD commentaries are anything to go by)
Regarding a Who companion from the 60s, I'd just like to point out that Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart made his first appearance on the show in 1968 . . .
I mean, obviously the people making Smallville had massive boners for her, but after the Legend of Fail Li I was hoping she would just drop off the scene for a while.
Then again, Chuck does seem to like hoovering up guest stars from other sci-fi shows.
you could say exactly the same thing abo9ut a certain other actress who is apparently considered a goddess here by some (hint: rhymes with Bummer Flau)
Don't be dissing Yo Gabba Gabba. It is a wonderful show. The other day they had one on Robots and Rhys Darby (Murray on Flight of the Conchords) was teaching the kids how to make robot sounds.
@stchoo: It's an awesome show and it's one of those few shows that gets more entertaining proportional to the amount of beer or other quasi-legal substance consumed. Try it on Benadryl or Ny-Quil, or some other pharmacutical supplement. Legal, of course...
Anyone catch the Jack Black appearance? I thought that was FREAKING INCREDIBLE.
"Also, Greg Grunberg says the thing where his Head-Sylar kidnaps his baby will all make sense."
always a good thing when cast members have to reassure the audience that their storyline totally makes sense. Hey Grunny, you ever recounted a funny story and have nobody laugh at it? Maybe your storyline is a "Guess you had to be there" moment too... just sayin'
@dazoid: Any time I read a comment (usually Glow-ing) about Heros from one of the cast members, I have to wonder whether they are willfully self-delusional, terminally naive, or have simply gone All In on the cynical media marketing machine. I hope for the last choice, 'cause the others make me sad.
regarding Doctor Who bringing back old companions, William Russell who played Ian Chesterton way back in the beginning of the series is still alive. They really should get him back on for an appearance before he dies. It would especially be interesting since his character knew the Doctor when he was an old man and now that he's pretty young and Russell is in his 80s
@rokenrolzombie: Well, no. Jasper was a soldier before he was vamped, and other than accidentally trying to kill Bella, he's got no interest in her. He's actually supposed to be the best warrior of the Cullen family.

And yes, Yo Gabba Gabba, with all it's wonderfully strange celebrity cameos, is awesome.

Hell yeah, that was a great episode. I really loved seeing "Cornelius" play on YGG.
