    @Spider Sister: In defense of Singapore, they're well along to actually finishing projects next year, including a couple major casinos. So they do have revenue set to roll in, unlike some other areas I could mention...

    That said, I'm not entirely sure how this project makes money.

    @Magicant: That's the problem with public gardens like this. Either you overcharge or you get some sort of financial aid from the host city to continue running unless you want to hemorrhage out the wazoo.

    I guess The Thing is the first movie that comes to a lot of people's minds when thinking of living in Antarctica. Interesting.

    When looking at the interior pics, I kept wondering where the red lens ports were for Hal to see me.

    Now if I was Luke Skywalker and I need somewhere to stay on Hoth......this wouldnt be it!! The colour scheme is horrific!! An AT-AT would spot me a friggin mile away!!

    I'll stick with the Taun Taun thanks.....better interior anyway!

    Maybe I don't really understand the blueprint. Is there a way to get in and out without dropping the interior air temp a lot (like an air lock)? Also, solar-powered is cool. But what if the sun doesn't shine for a long time?

    Also, the colors suck, big time. I might survive 15 days in there, but my soul would suffer irreparable damage.
