    Revelations was one of the worst of the Final Crisis tie-ins there was, though.
    Actually, the only good one I can think of is the one with the Flash rogues gallery.

    @DocSeuss: I thought it was probably the best tie-in. Revelations, Rogues, and Last Will and Testament were must reads for me....more so than the actual crisis, really.

    Oh, and I saw a poster at Midtown Comics promoting the final issue of Planetary due in October. All I can say is - THANK. YOU. LITTLE. BABY. JESUS.

    Absolutely no comic book fan should pass up on Doom Patrol. Giffen and DeMatteis + a bunch of loser heroes = epic win
    And no mention for Chew #3? It's a pretty fantastic series so far.

    @omgwtflolbbqbye:Yes and all that was required to take out a quick reflexed vigilante was to just casually walk up to her door and shoot her.

    If that's all it took to take her out, she should have died WAY earlier in her career.

    @alphanumeric1971: That was sort of the point though. Barbara and Jim never expected anyone to attack them at home, point blank, while opening the door in plainclothes.

    @alphanumeric1971: She was shot as Barbara Gordon, not as Batgirl. Her being shot had nothing to do with her vigilante career.

    @sumocat: let's see, she's the daughter of the police commissioner. Your telling me that even if she never became batgirl, nobody including her would have thought that they would have tried to get at Gordon through her?

    I'm personally of the Stephanie-as-Batgirl bandwagon. She's owed a bigger role in the Family following that ridiculous "death" at the hands of Leslie Thompkins and being robbed of the Robin role.

    I LOVE TERRY. I would be so happy to see him back. I may even start reading comics more regularly again, if he were in them :) I hope it's Cassandra Cain batgirl... I miss her :) I liked her when she was cute and quiet and deadly.

    this whole mixup of who is under which mask isn't going to change much unless the writers can actually come up with decent stories.
    also i still find dick playing batman to be a little off, since he's.. not batman. he doesn't have the motivation or the history, just the training. and surely someone's noticed nightwing disappeared?
