Looks fun. Briefly reading through, reminds me more of a game of Noblis after reading too much Doctrow.

Also, I'm guessing that the sort of people who frequent a S.F. culture site aren't going to need the "Holy Avenger" disclaimer.

White wolf is always good for some innovative and mature ideas (Not so much in the last 10 or so years though.) but I don't think this one will be a hit for them. As a grownup, I play RPGs to get away from from the dull boring reality of being a cog in dull corporate world.

This is structured very similar to the system used for the Baron Munchausen role-playing game, which is actually more appropriately a storytelling game, and is great fun as long as everyone is drinking heavily.

Until your friend gets so drunk on white brandy that he falls down and cuts his head open, and then decides he wants to wrestle everyone that's trying to help him, so you need three people to hold him and keep him from headbutting you while you talk him down.

@braak: Funnily enough, I own and love Baron Munchausen, and some of that filtered through. It's a bit more structured than that.

@SimonMay: The Munchausen game really does require people who are really good at storytelling to not be completely boring (alternately: players who are really drunk). I can see it benefiting from more structure.

@braak: This is sort of true. Alcohol always makes it better. The one time I played it sober, one player walked all over everyone else.

So yeah. That's exactly what I was thinking of. Have you ever come across a game called The Shab-Al-Hiri Roach? That's on much the same level (and highly recommended).
