    @TheLostVikings R.O.A.C.H.: I appreciate the concept here, but the Michael Bay setup doesn't give the punch and brutal realism of the Rapunzel and Cinderella photos. And I think she looks like plastic.

    @Darklighter: Yah. Way too composited. This would have worked better with her hunkered down in an alley/ruined building with a Fallujah street scene in the background or whatever. This looks too fakey, too... Michael Bay? Love the concept, but the excecution makes it the weakest of Ms. Goldstein's otherwise excellent series.

    @Grey_Area: Agreed. Not at all real. It looks like a movie poster (not even a movie!), unlike real life. A street scene would have been more humanizing and fit better with the others, bringing the princess out of the realm of fantasy and into our world.

    It's a little facile and on-the-nose, but the composition, lighting, casting, etc. is lovely.


    Rapunzel is the best. So poignant.

    @Evil Tortie's Mom: R.O.A.C.H.: Because, BMP sucks.


    PNG is loss-less just like BMP. While at the same time it's a much smaller file size and supports varied transparency. Not just the on/off transparency that GIF has.
