Looks nothing like the 70's or 80's Silurians, but several people in the know at Gallifrey Base are **very** insistant as to their identity, so oh well. #lost
@bluehinter: The wiki has some intersting stuff - especially the line The cover artwork of Scales of Injustice even portrays a hybrid Silurian with features intermediate between their aquatic cousins the Sea Devils and one of the Silurians seen in Warriors. - if the Silurians are this open to interpretation in the canon, there's no reason this couldn't be one, I guess? #lost
Not convinced at all that those are actually Silurian. It would represent far too great a redesign, and thus far the new series has been fairly respectful of the old when bringing back classic enemies. I think the lack of a third eye really convinces me that these are not Silurians, unless they are really scared of screwing up as with Warriors of the Deep again :)
Personally, I'd love to see the Silurians back, they were definitely one of the most interesting races in classic Who. Hopefully all this attention will convince TPTB that now is the time to bring them back. #lost
@HalOfBorg: Wow, it really, REALLY does. It'll be interesting to see whether they start cross pollinating the other way, with stuff introduced in SJA turning up in the core show. Androvax was a fun villain too, he could stand another appearance. #lost
"Morena Baccarin says Anna doesn't have a huge un-masking moment in the first four episodes, but there may be some effects added to her face to give a glimpse of the lizard beneath."
Could it be a long serpentine tongue I hope? #lost
We can only hope Emmerlich has finally run out of the end of the world, armageddon, total destruction and pretty much every destruction thought out there. His movie's other than ID4 are a waste of film. #lost
@Im_your_Huckleberry: His next project is supposed to be The Foundation Trilogy. He gets to destroy an entire galactic civilization. Asimov wasn't known for his action scenes or explosions but Emmerich will find a way to blow things up...He'll find a way. #lost
I'm somewhat shamed to admit that because of the construction of the actual word involved, I initially thought that sentence in the Dollhouse spoiler said Dushku talked about "making out with Summer Glau". #lost
@Tomb: R.O.A.C.H.: I'm not so sure - after all, Gilliam made his name with the Pythons primarily with his nutty animated sketches, which tended to use photomontage and collage almost exclusively. #theimaginariumofdoctorparnassu...
I am a sucker for porcelain skin, artificially photoshopped or not. (I can't tell from this pic, and I am not familiar with this actress.) #theimaginariumofdoctorparnassu...

In other news, Dr Emilio Lizardo is only speaking in the third person today. #lost

The mysterious Doctor Who monster in question.

The Dr Who pic #11 looks a lot like "Androvax" from The Sarah Jane Adventures "Prisoner of the Judoon" #lost

Having them fight, let's get real, is more for titillation factor for the guys than any plot necessity. #lost
