Well with my cousin Luke in on the project, you know I am going to be watching, but SciFi?

It seems the only things SCiFi does right are things that they have little to no control over, so if they are too involved I think this will just be another Flash Gordon or movie, filmed in Canada with a Special Effects budget less then a rural Alabama Day Care.

Deanna Troi or no, I don't see how making this movie on a Sci fi TV Movie budget could be an improvement. Why not just broadcast the actual movie? And I agree, this movie is all kinds of awesome, but I have little hope for this adaptation.
