"Because humanity is in a place where we might deserve another flood, like what happened in the Old Testament. "
That's the idiotic sort of statement that really pisses me off. I just love it when people try to impose their moronic, simplistic morality on everybody else. People are just like they've always been.

I really don't like saying things like this, but this trailer makes the movie seem EXACTLY like Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight. And I mean EXACTLY.
In DK, there is a tremendous group of demons converging on a single house out in the wilderness where a single chosen hero has to protect a universe-saving key from Billy Zane's seductive demon captain. So there's a group of civilians all trapped in a house, and every now and then one of them will be turned and allow himself to be possessed, thus becoming a disfigured freak and turning on the others.
Did I miss the part where you transcribed his response to not being caked in make-up like in Hellboy? I would like to know about this cryptic "sweet response"...
Yeah the premise for the movie is a little silly, if God was upset with us we would die, period. He would not send Angels to do anything he would clap twice and lights out. But hey, maybe it is just a REALLY bad preview.
@Pharacon: depends on what you mean by 'God' really. i mean, yes, if he's truely omnipotent then that's all he need do but clearly the premise of this film is that he isn't truely omnipotent.
@Pharacon: You should read the apocalyptic bible stories where people, their cattle and houses and their kids and their pets are beaten, torn, ripped, pummeled, set on fire, stomped on and stomped on again. It's really something how P.O.'d the Big Guy gets in the Old Testament. He really knows how to make a point.
