I am not ready to bring myself to watch the trailer for Womb. It frightens me on a level, I didn't realize I had.
I started having nightmares recently.
I know people had them in the past, and I read books about people having them. But recently they started for me. This feels like pure nightmare fuel.
@PostMarque: Clones are that scary? To me they're like identical twins who were separated at birth. This movie seems more about incest (Wife loses Husband, uses son as substitute). Cloning seems like an unnecessary twist just sort of tossed in.
Hm. It'd take more than utter depopulation to get me and my sister to sit for a meal, let alone... yeah. Better hope she and I aren't the last survivors, or you can weep for the human race and the six fingered mutant inbreds we never repopulate with. Hell of a sitcom though.
This instant comedy classic is on BBC America, at 9 PM.
Again with the comedy tag! Yes, Being Human has some comedic scenes in it and has very quotable funny lines of dialogue, but it's a drama! It's in the drama section at the BBC UK website.
@Evil Tortie's Mom: R.O.A.C.H.: Yeah, the Sopranos's had stuff that made me laugh, but Being Human is definitely drama first. I enjoyed it this weekend and will continue to watch.
@Dr Emilio Lizardo: Be honest, did you ever really think Virtuality had a shot on Fox? Maybe if Moore had sold it to SciFi it would have been picked up. To be picked on Fox it would have to be a cartoon from Seth McFarlane or a sleazy version of a reality show on another network.
Shark Week has pissed me off over the last few years. Very little new footage and just a collection of specials that talk about "DEADLY SHARK ATTACKS!" (which actually seem to be like the ten same Shark Attacks told in different montages) that play up how the Shark is a MERCILESS KILLER that conjures up images of Jaws, with barely a token 'Hey sharks are just predators doing what they do, and oh being scared of them to the point where you go out and slaughter them wholesale's probably not a good idea thanx NOW LISTEN TO THIS PERSON'S TERRIFYING ACCOUNT OF BEING BITTEN!"
I mean, the only highlight in the last few years has been basically Mythbusters doing random crazy Shark crap, which is a long way from the really cool dives and amazing footage I want, but at least it's not the same damned premise done in yet another slightly different way.
@Evdor: Also, yes, I am a hippy that was born on a beach with a relative who was a Marine Biologist, who also happened to really like Sharks and hated the way they were often vilified, why do you ask?
Spectacular Spider-Man joins The Brave & The Bold and yes, Iron Man as one of the most surprisingly entertaining animated shows. The people involved clearly know and love the source material.
@AngriestGeek: It's actually kind of ironic, because it's good to be a comic book fan in every medium except the actual comic books. (LOEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEB!)
comicon must be killed. it's no longer "comic"con. it's hollywoodcon. this must change. it must be broken into parts, or taken on tour. it's ridiculous that real fans can't get in anymore. it's been invaded by posers. make it nerdcon. have it go to 10 cities across the country. a lollapalooza for geeks every summer. maybe that will then reduce it back to normal numbers.
@FrellingDominar: It's true; it's getting so huge they're talking about extending it out of the convention center and into the Embarcadero... which is just ridiculous. However, if it gives me a chance to try out my death ray on Mr. Xtreme, I'd be up for doing it in the sweltering sun.
@Smeagol92055: R.O.A.C.H.: Oh, yeah. We have GOT to get you a ticket so you can take out him. Although he's such a loser, he probably doesn't have one... maybe you can find him hanging around outside and strike a blow for ROACH!

Word of warning: I am 90% insane.
Another word of warning: My entire oeuvre on San Diego consists of drunken antics when I went to UCSD.
