Also, it's the season finale of T:SCC, and Macaulay Culkin makes his Kings debut. Clips/spoilers ahead...

Monday:

Chuck -
The dreamy Scott Bakula dons a floppy hair-don't as Chuck's washed out drunkard Pop. Together, Chuck and his blonde girlfriend convince Pops to dry out long enough to join the family wedding. But all that work goes to hell when Chevy Chase pops in as a lunatic CEO with a dark and twisted past that links directly back to Bakula. Chuck is on NBC at 8 PM.

Heroes -
After last week's not-terrible episode, this week's has a lot to live up to, especially since it's all about Angela. This week, we get answers to Angela's past. Meanwhile, Noah continues to have marital troubles, and Sylar continues his buddy cop journey with Danko. Heroes is on NBC at 9 PM.

Movies:

Possibly the creepiest, and most overlooked, movie ever — Disney's The Black Hole — is on TCM tonight at 5:45 PM. A crew discovers a spaceship on the edge of a black hole with a nasty secret and a mad Captain.

Tuesday:

Fringe -
J.J. Abrams' Scooby Gang is back, with a pale feral child who makes Walter dance. But how does this silent child relate to a creepy serial killer who's been leaving his/her victims splayed out in public squares for all to see? Fringe is on Fox at 9 PM.

Fringe Clip-

Reaper -
It's a Reaper road trip, where Sock tries to sleep with his stepsister, and Sam almost gets eaten by a giant snake creature. You know: same old, same old. Reaper it on the CW at 8 PM.

Reaper Clip:

Reaper Promo:

Cupid -
Trevor continues on with his Cupid shtick, with Claire's friend Riley. And we all learn an important lesson about love, or something. Cupid is on ABC at 10 PM.

Wednesday:

Better Off Ted -
A glitch in the company's sensor system causes Ted to have to battle the execs' cost-cutting ways yet again. But who cares about him? Phil and Lem are back! Better Off Ted is on ABC at 8:30 PM.

Lost -
The horribly misunderstood Ben must atone for all his bad deeds, by coming face to face with the smoke monster. Will we ever find out what it is? Who knows, but Smokey is still my favorite character on the island. Lost is on ABC at 9 PM.

Lost Promo:

UFO Hunters -
Cuba and Florida teem with underwater alien bases — just ask the UFO Hunters, on the History Channel at 10 PM.

Thursday:

Catch up on your Kings from 11 PM until 3 AM with a mini marathon, over at the Syfy Channel.

No new Smallville.

No new Supernatural.

Movies:

Aliens are disguised as creepy little infants in this 90s remake of the classic 1960 film, Village of the Damned. That's at 2 AM on Cinemax.

Friday:

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -
It's a face-to-metal-face confrontation. Weaver finally gets the business meeting of a lifetime, tonight in the season finale. That's on Fox at 8 PM.

TSCC Promo

Dollhouse -
The House team figures out that an intelligence leak is coming from inside the house! So the only thing to do is turn Sierra and Echo into super-secret spies and set them loose inside their own abode. Dollhouse is on Fox at 9 PM.

Dollhouse Promo:

Prepare to suspend your disbelief indefinitely for both parts of a movie about a massive 10.5 scale earthquake that threatens to turn the US into some version of hell, only with sushi. Apocalypse parts 1 and 2 is on USA at 10 AM.

Another good double feature is The Fly and The Fly 2, over at AMC at 2:14 AM and 4:15 AM. I'm actually more interested in seeing Fly 2 as it's all about the unfortunate fly scientist's spawn being a teen and dealing with his raging insect instincts.

Saturday:

Movies:
There's a classic SyFy channel low-budget werewolf movie — this time with a military slant because they're using werewolves as soldiers. War Wolves is on at 11 PM.

Another terrible Syfy Original, Monster Ark, alleges that before Noah built THE arc, he built another one for monsters — and one got loose and he hid it in a box in Iraq, and they find it in this movie. So that's what happened to the unicorns, check it out at 5 PM.

Sunday:

Kings -
Macaulay Culkin is finally making his grand Kings debut, and I cannot wait. He's so perfect for the evil cast-out son, it's going to be tremendous. Kings is on NBC at 8 PM.

Movies:

The worst Kevin Costner movie of them all, Waterworld, will come jet skiing your way on Encore at 8 PM.

<![CDATA[Sayid's Paradox, Dean's Nude Pose, And Tricia Helfer]]> Turns out the Dean-and-Sam Supernatural fanfic comic has already been created, and this week's episode is all about it. Plus Smallville has a Lex Luthor flashback, and Tricia Helfer gets rough with Chuck.

Monday:

Chuck -
Move over Sarah - Tricia Helfer is on Chuck detail, and the world's sexiest robot is getting her spy on. Of course, Sarah won't stand for this replacement and I'm sure there will be yet another "hot" girl fight just like every other time a sexy woman guest stars. Chuck is on NBC at 8 PM.

Chuck Promo:

Chuck Clip:

Heroes -
Nathan and Claire hightail it to Mexico, and Peter reconnects with Angela. But more importantly Heroes is bringing back classic bad-boy Sylar. Let's hope it works - but if it doesn't, they could always make him good again, and then bad, and then good. Heroes is on NBC at 9 PM.

Movies:

Get an eyeful of mutated cave dwellers, when the National Guard comes under attack from cave people in The Hills Have Eyes 2, on Cinemax at 8:30 PM.

Better Off Ted -
This week Ted brings his cute little girl into the Veridian offices, and she befriends Veronica. But more importantly, what hijinks will Phil and Lem get into this week? Better Off Ted is on ABC at 8:30 PM.

Better Off Ted Veronica Promo:

Lost -
What have you done, Sayid? Surely the island won't let the Iraqi assassin off our favorite morally gray sociopath, Ben - but until then the Dharama people are pissed and looking for someone to blame. Lost is on ABC at 9 PM.

Lost Promo:

UFO Hunters -
This week, the UFO experts break down our favorite type of aliens, the Greys. Learn all about our skinny alien friends, on the History Channel at 10 PM.

Life On Mars -
The series finale of LOM is tonight, and Sam finally gets the chance to return home back to 2008. While it can't possibly top the English series finale, I'm excited to see them try. What price will American Sam have to pay to return home? LOM is on ABC at 10 PM.

Movies:

What kind of powers would an Atom bomb give someone? The H-Man attempts to answer this question by giving the main character nuclear powers, in this Japanese film set in the seedy criminal underworld. It's on at 12:30 AM on AMC.

Based on Shakespeare's The Tempest, this 50s film follows a space ship sent from earth to explore a colony of scientists sent out years earlier, only to discover all but two have perished, Forbidden Planet is on at 2 AM on TCM.

Thursday:

There is a Highlander marathon on the Syfy Channel from 8 AM until 12 AM.

Smallville -
It's a Davis-centric episode, which means more of the awesome Sam Witwer. No one else does eyes filled with evil like our Sam. And we learn more of Davis' secret past... with young Lex Luthor. Smallville is on the CW at 8 PM.

Eleventh Hour

In the season finale, Hood rolls out his arched eyebrow one last time, when a woman accuses the FBI of stealing her baby, and forcibly keeping her medicated and out of the way. Say goodbye to Hood - for now - on CBS at 10 PM.

Friday:

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -
I'm still a bit torn up about losing Charley Dixon. They are killing off all the characters I love on T:SCC, but at least it's been delightful at every turn. But this week puts John dangerously close to Catherine Weaver - which makes us nervous for our favorite baddie. T:SCC is on Fox at 8 PM.

T:SCC Promo:

Dollhouse -
Echo wakes up with all her memories intact - along with a few other mind-wiped vessels. But when they arise from their "floor coffins," they're no longer as willing as they used to be to serve as sex-puppet money makers. Dollhouse is on Fox at 9 PM.

Saturday:

Movies:

When werewolves and vampires fall in love and make babies, they're blue things with black eyes, that can kill EVERYONE. Or at least that's the way it works in Underworld, where Kate Beckinsale fighters wear pleather catsuits, so I don't complain. Underworld at 8 PM on TNT.

Sunday:

Kings -
Loyalties are being tested again on this expensive alt-history soap opera. This week, William tries to get Jack to betray his dad, again. Meanwhile, David's loyalties are tested...also again. And Michelle has to do something with the rebels of Gath, so that's new. Kings is on NBC at 8 PM.

Movies:

DOOMSDAY is on tonight! Think of it as Mad Max meets Dragonheart meets 28 Weeks Later, with a heaping of terrible and a dollop of fantastic. When the U.K. is hit with a deadly virus, the government builds a wall around Scotland, thus sealing in the infected. But, many years later, when it starts to spread, they have to go back inside the quarantine zone and look for survivors. And let me tell you what they find is pretty amazing - think Medieval Times fantastic. Doomsday is on HBO at 2:30 AM.

Jumanji for the information age, Zathura stars Twilight's Kristen Stewart as a teenaged girl who finds herself and her brothers hurled through time and space, as a result of a board game, that's at 5:55 A.M. on TBS.

<![CDATA[Exactly How Many Kinds Of Terminators Are There In Terminator 4?]]> Today, we're indulging in toy spoilers (Terminator 4) and soundtrack spoilers (Dragonball). Plus the BSG clip you've waited for, and clips and dirt on Heroes, Eleventh Hour, V, Smallville and Dollhouse. What's next: hair spoilers?

Terminator Salvation:

We already blew your mind with those Japanese Terminator toys for kids. But some other Japanese toy ads give away a few spoilers. Most notably, there's a new look at the T-1, the T-600 and the T-700. (I don't remember any talk about the T-700 in the film before.) And there are the Harvester and the Moto-Terminator. Not only that, but it solves the mystery of the T-RIP figure, which was only shown as a silhouette in past ads. Turns out T-RIP stands for Terminator Resistance Infiltrator Prototype, and it's the T-800. Also, as with past figurines, there are some figures of Marcus (Sam Worthington) and/or Roland Kickinger, where they're cyborgified. Many more pics at the link. [Toys Revil]

Dragonball Evolution:

Here's the tracklist for the movie's soundtrack, which give some clues as to the structure of the storyline:

1) The Legend
2) Dragonball Evolution
3) Fulums
4) Kaiou Samma
5) Goku
6) Gohan's Special Gift
7) Master Roshi
8) The Journey Begins
9) Lighting The Torches
10) Vengeance
11) Chasing Dragonballs
12) Lord PIccolo
13) Mai Vs Chi Chi
14) A Higher Calling
15) Body Work
16) I Dream Of Chi Chi
17) Grime Vinyl
18) Unwelcome Strangers
19) Bulma And Yamcha
20) Things To Come
21) The Final Battle
22) End Game
23) Dragonball Evolution Main Titles

[DB The Movie]]

Piccolo actor James Marsters says the movie is based on Dragonball, not Dragonball Z, and thus Piccolo is young and virile. And he doesn't possess the superpower of "dismembering himself." [DB The Movie]

Battlestar Galactica:

Can you not wait until tomorrow night to hear Ellen Tigh say, "You got her PREGNANT?" Then here you go, courtesy of the Canadian trailer:

Grace Park explains what happens in the TV movie "The Plan":

It's more about the Cylon perspective, and so we went back and we dealt a little bit more with Boomer and some with Cavil. And that kind of threw me for a huge loop because there are a lot of scenes that aren't explained, so as actors we fill them in ourselves as best we can. And somewhere along the line, I think it was when I got the script for The Plan, they offered a bunch of new information that really didn't fit with what I had sort of built everything else on for the last four or five years. So I kind of feel like I've built a stick house on a pile of rocks that can all just fall down.

And reading between the lines, it doesn't sound like Chief Tyrol and Boomer get much of a chance to try and reconnect in these last few episodes.

Also, it sounds like the shooting on the show's last few episodes was even more chaotic than we'd realized, with a bunch of fairly crucial script pages going unshot, and some scenes getting shot in such a hurry that Park was switching back between Boomer and Athena before she'd even finished her lines. [Galactica TV via Galactica Sitrep]

Dollhouse:

Remember that mysterious clip we ran last spring, showing Tahmoh Penikett and Eliza Dushku interacting? It's from the pilot that got scrapped. But Penikett says he and Dushku do have some great scenes together coming up. Also, he says around the sixth episode, the show gets back on track with what Joss originally had planned, before the network started asking for changes. [Time Out Chicago]

Heroes:

There's a casting call for a "baby Matt." Could this be Matt and Janice's baby? Or Matt himself as a baby? In any case, maybe that's the baby we saw Hiro and Ando carrying around on set a while back? Also, the show's producers promise that Micah will be back. And "Rebel" will track Sylar down to get his help against Nathan - which could lead to the future we saw back in season one, with Sylar replacing Nathan. (Buh?) Episode 3x23 is called "1961," and it shows us the earliest origins of the Company. [Heroes Television]

Another casting call gives me hope that we'll be seeing more of President Worf. The show is seeking someone to play Liam Samuels, the president's Chief Of Staff, in episode 3x25. And there's also a young African American female aide to Senator Nathan, plus a Secret Service agent and a security guard. [SpoilerTV]

And here's a clip and some pics from Monday's HRG-centric episode. [The ODI]

Smallville:

In episode 8x16, "Turbulence," Jimmy freaks out when he sees Davis waking up from his coma, and has an angry outburst towards Chloe. Tess takes Clark in Oliver's private jet to an important press conference, and Clark tries to find out what Lex told her about him. Davis visits a cathedral where he confesses he's hurt people he cares about. And then in episode 8x17, "Hex," not only does Zatanna do a spell that turns Chloe into Lois, but she also makes Clark believe he's just a simple glasses-wearing reporter. And Clark accidentally reveals his feelings for Lois to Chloe. [OSCK]

V:

Another casting call gives us the description of FBI agent Erica's partner Dale Maddox: "44 years old, Hispanic, Erica's partner in the FBI Counter Terrorists Division and a close friend. Like Erica, he's spent years tracking a variety of sleeper cells in the Los Angeles area. He and Erica go undercover to penetrate the anti-Visitor resistance group." [SpoilerTV]

Eleventh Hour:

Assuming the show gets a second season (which is up in the air), there are rumors that Marley Shelton is leaving the cast. [TV Guide]

Supernatural:

Now that the show is jumping the shark by introducing a third Winchester brother (in an episode called "Jump The Shark," what's going to happen next season? Says creator Eric Kripke, "the boys take trips to London and Hawaii (haunted Tiki dolls!) and Sam and Ruby get married. And Ted McGinley joins the cast as the thoughtful (but hot!) college professor." I think he's kidding. I hope. [TV Guide]

<![CDATA[A Surprising Wolverine Co-Star Confirmed!]]> A French magazine printed tons of new Wolverine pics, and confirmed a shocking mutant costar. Plus there are new Astro Boy and Clone Wars pics, and Push/Heroes clips. And super-minor Doctor Who season five spoilers.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine:

French magazine Climax had a cover story about this movie, and true to their name, they celebrated with tons of pics of Wolvie having an orgasm. (I think they're all new, except maybe the one of him standing. Way more pics in the print magazine.) My French is super rusty — hard to believe I used to read Sartre in the original French — but here's what I could glean.

There will be tons of angst and darkness. Actually, this quote from director Gavin Hood sounds very Sartrean in French: "Wolverine m'attire car il est en conflit avec lui-même et sa vraie nature. Il souffre d'un rage existentielle hors du commun." (Wolverine appeals to me becuase he's in conflict with himself and his true nature, and he suffers an existential rage.)

There's a roundup of the movie's mutants: Sabretooth (Liev Schreiber), Gambit (Taylor Kitsch), William Stryker (Danny Huston), Beak (Dominic Monaghan), Kestrel (Will.I.Am), Silver Fox (Lynn Collins), Blob (Kevin Durand), Scott Summers (Tim Pocock), Agent Zero (Daniel Henney), Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Emma Frost (Tahnya Tozzi). As far as I can tell, it's just summarizing who these people are in the comics. Note: I'd heard reports that Scott Summers was in this film, but is this the first official confirmation? [SpoilerTV]

The Book Of Eli:

Some more casting news about this post-apocalyptic samurai movie starring Denzel Washington as the guy who has the book everybody wants. Dumbledore actor Michael Gambon has signed on to play one half of a couple who hold onto old traditions in spite of the whole "post-apocalyptic" thing. [Reuters]

Astro Boy:

Two new images from the CG animated movie, tying in with its promotional appearances at New York Comic Con. Bigger images at the link. [AICN via Slashfilm]

Push:

Here's a new clip from this awesome psychic smackdown movie:

Doctor Who:

Call this an incredibly minor spoiler. New Doctor Matt Smith says he's read a couple of scripts from season five, written by Steven Moffat, and "they rocket along." He also says they're "inventive and witty." (So the spoiler is that the scripts aren't slow moving and unoriginal, I guess.) Also, Smith says he wouldn't mind having his costume look a bit like 1970s star Tom Baker's. [BBC]

Heroes:

Another development in the "blonde women want to leave the show" rumor-fest. Hayden Panettiere came out and denied that she wanted to do a cheerleadery backflip away from the series. Or rather, she said she doesn't know anything about those rumors, which is almost the same thing. Almost. [MSNBC]

Here's a sneak peek from Monday's episode, "Trust And Blood." [HeroesTheSeries]

And here's our first peek at Smallville's John Glover as Sylar's dad. [Heroes Spoilers]

Star Wars: Clone Wars:

Friday night's episode, "The Hidden Enemy," sounds like it may be one to catch, since it sets up an intriguing plot development for future installments. Cody and Rex discover that one of their fellow clones is leaking information to the enemy, and they have to uncover the traitor before he thwarts the Republic's efforts to liberate Christophsis from a Separatist siege. Says director Steward Lee,

The clone's logic is understandable... He no longer wants to be just a slave to the Jedi, and wants to try and break that infrastructure. He thinks he's doing the right thing for all the clones and that the sacrifice is worth it.

Adds writer Drew Greenberg (Buffy, Dexter, Firefly):

Even the guy who turns out to be the bad guy makes the case that he was doing it for his brothers. This is about what it means to be a clone and what it means to be part of that brotherhood." And Lee says the Clone's rejection of the task he was bred for "creates an interesting beginning of something to come.

[Lucasfilm]

Eleventh Hour:

Plot descriptions for the Feb. 19 and Feb. 26 episodes:

1x14, "Minimata": A healthy helicopter pilot who flies for a local TV station goes blind during a live traffic report, which results in a deadly crash.
1x15, "Electro": "Thirty people are struck by lightning during a 10-minute thunderstorm."

<![CDATA[Battlestar Carnage, Clone Wars Decapitations And Wolverine's Explosions]]> Today's spoiler assault: telltale pics from Wolverine, Transformers, Heroes, Lost and Wonder Woman. New clips from Clone Wars and Smallville. Battlestar mayhem. Hints about Doctor Who, Kick-Ass, Chuck and Eleventh Hour. Spoilers refresh your cortex!

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen:

I know, I know, we hate toy spoilers. But here's a pic of Soundwave's new robot mode, according to some new photos over at Empire Magazine. The old Soundwave was a tape deck, but now he's some sort of jet thingy. More pics, and bigger versions, at the link. [Empire via Cinemablend]

Meanwhile, in other toy spoiler news, people are noticing more images of Megatron on various Transformers 2 toys, leading to renewed speculation that Michael Bay was lying and the Decepticon leader will be back after all. [Slashfilm]

X-Men Origins: Wolverine:

Some set pics of this mutantpalooza's reshoot in Vancouver have turned up online, but you can't see much. Part of the University of British Columbia campus was turned into a military facility, complete with barbed wire. And there's a tank. Which gets blowed up. Way more pics at the links. [Zeshiku and Tyfn and Freinhar, via Slashfilm]

Kick-Ass:

The movie version of Mark Millar's wannabe-superhero comic is "dead on" like the comics source material, says actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Except for the costume Mintz-Plasse wears as Red Mist, everything else is exactly the same. And Nicholas Cage kicks absurd amounts of ass in the film, the actor says. He says they're already talking about a possible sequel, in which the Red Mist would have a huge role. [MTV]

Doctor Who:

Here's a new video diary from David Tennant himself. The BBC also released an image of one page of the episode's script, which looks like the museum security guards turning on the security system right before Michelle Ryan breaks in and steals something. [Planet Gallifrey]

Battlestar Galactica:

The "space mutiny" gets totally out of hand, with everybody trying to kill each other. Starbuck, in particular, gets her Clint Eastwood on, shooting all her enemies with tremendous abandon. [Entertainment Weekly via Battlestar Blog]

Lost:

Mrs. Hawking is definitely related to someone we already know, say producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof. And Ben might be able to go back to the island after all. As for whether Locke can escape death, "He looks pretty dead to me," says Lindelof. [E! Online]

The show was setting up a scene on the beach near Othersville. It includes a makeshift hut and a ton of luggage. But it's not our heroes' beach camp returning — it's a much more primitive settlement, maybe after another plane crash? More pics at the link. [Hawaii Weblog]

Another witness caught a scene on the beach, which was strewn with luggage and a couple of canoes. Someone with long salt-and-pepper hair and an airline pilot's uniform was there, interacting with a man in a burgundy shirt. And there were trailers for Sun, Locke, Frank Lapidus, Ben, and a couple other actors. Later, there was a scene of Locke, wearing a nice outfit, walking over to Ben's cabin. More pics at the link. [The ODI]

Heroes:

Some new casting calls for episode 3x23 seem to take place in the same storyline as the "Young Angela Petrelli" stuff. We meet a racist cook who works at an Arizona diner in the 1960s and makes threats against one of his customers. We also meet a cheerful 1960s mom, and a Latina waitress at that Arizona diner. It's not clear if Mr. Shaw, a devoted father trying to protect his daughters, is also in the 1960s. [SpoilerTV]

And here are a few more new set photos. [Heroes Spoilers]

Star Wars: Clone Wars:

In a new clip from Friday night's episode, "Trespass," Obi-Wan and friends discover a grisly sight... but the decapitating culprit isn't the Separatists. [Lucasfilm]

Smallville:

Here's a sneak peek from tonight's episode, "Power":

Chuck:

Some more details on the appearance on Chuck's dad, as played by Scott Bakula. Chuck has promised his sister that he'll find their dad before her wedding to Captain Awesome, but Chuck isn't ready for what he finds. Chuck's dad is paranoid and living in a trailer, claiming that software magnate Ted Roark (Chevy Chase) stole all his ideas. Chuck has always looked up to Roark for a long time, but maybe the discovery that Roark and his dad used to work together might change things. [Zap2It]

Eleventh Hour:

A casting call for episode 16, "Olfactus." It takes place at a top modeling agency, where we meet the sexy receptionist Gretchen and the top partner, Coco Hernandez, whose business partner Robert Bertram just died. Then there's top model Hailey Vaughn and her upper-class neighbor Tom. And the rich perfume designer Nicholas Merced, and his sharky corporate lawyer Linda. Finally, there's Stanley, an upper class man who attends a runway fashion show and gets into a fight in the men's room. He winds up the victim of a crime that's not his fault, but he still gets interrogated by Dr. Hood. [SpoilerTV]

Wonder Woman:

Here are a few pics of the animated DVD's version of Steve Trevor, voiced by Nathan Fillion. He crashes on Paradise island, where they don't appreciate his unrefined sense of humor. And his first fight of the film is with Princess Diana herself. [Warner Bros.]

<![CDATA[Which Major TV Show May Be Turning Its Shippers Into Unwitting Incest Fans?]]> Today's spoiler harvest includes scorching Doctor Who set pics, Supernatural script pages, and the most shocking Fringe theory yet. Will there be crazy Lost twists? There will! Plus Sarah Connor, Star Wars and Smallville.

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen:

Toy spoilers! (I know. I know.) Here's an amazingly detailed and very serious review of the movie's Audi R-8 tie-in toy. We just had to share this video because it's so dedicated. [Transformers Live]

Lost:

We'll learn which female castmember may be dying, in the closing seconds of the Jan. 28 episode. And Sawyer will make out with a non-Kate female this season. And the show is casting a "young Philip Seymour Hoffman" character, who has a small role in season five and a huge role in season six. Is it Jacob? A Dharma mastermind? Both? We'll find out, Darlton willing. [EW]

A bit more detail on exactly how the Oceanic Six's return to the island will become complicated, courtesy of Jorge Garcia. At first, they'll think they should return to the island all together, but then they'll decide to return separately. Some will go one way, others will go another. And the off-island situation will get a lot more complicated just as they're gearing up to go back. [TV Guide via Doc Arzt]

By the end of season five, we'll understand why Widmore might want to send Miles, Daniel and Charlotte, in particular, to the island. [NJ.com]

Doctor Who:

More set reports. Extras dressed as UNIT soldiers were tromping around a big tunnel, along with a mobile UNIT HQ. And then a scene involving police officers and an armed response unit pointing their guns at something inside the tunnel. It seems there's a "smouldering skeleton on the road," and UNIT is called in to investigate. [Doctor Who Forum, especially Scooty and Brian, and Alun Vega. You guys rule, as always!]

Supernatural:

SpoilerTV uploaded what we in the news business call a buttload of script pages for episode 4.18. (Technically, they're casting sides, so they may or may not be from the real script.) Lilith wants to know where the knife is, and Sam tries to trick her, to no avail. Sam attacks her, but it turns out she and Sam can't hurt each other. Lilith offers Sam a deal: she'll stop opening the seals and trying to free Lucifer, if the Winchester brothers give up their lives. (Because otherwise, Lilith will die in the final battle.) Sam says no, then changes his mind and says yes.

Meanwhile, a comic book publisher turns out to have been publishing a remarkably accurate comic about the lives of the Winchester boys. Their quest for answers leads them to a comic book store, where the store owner thinks they're LARPing. And then to the publisher's office, where she gushes over all their most private griefs and traumas. They have to take off their shirts and show their tattoos to get her to reveal the real name of the comic's writer. The writer, Chuck, is blown away to meet the real-life Sam and Dean, and starts believing he's a god. He's not very helpful to the Winchesters, who are just trying to figure out what's next.

Also: Dean gets hit by an SUV. A crucial bridge is out, so the boys are trapped in a small town overnight. And they decide to go incognito by eating tofu burgers and other health food — except Dean gets a bacon cheesburger by mistake. [SpoilerTV]

Meanwhile, a secret will soon be revealed that will make Dean feel guilty for all eternity. [EW]

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles:

The major character who will die is female, and close to John. And she's said on video that she's a fan of Michael Ausiello at EW. (Presumably in an interview. Anybody care to search the archives?) [EW]

Heroes:

We showed you photos of a tense meeting between Peter and his mommy. Now here's the video. [Heroes Spoilers]

Star Wars: Clone Wars:

The peace-loving Lurmens try to insist their world is neutral territory in this new clip from Friday's episode. Good luck with that! Also, there's a new still. [Lucasfilm]

Fringe:

The show will deal with computer viruses in a new, fringe-y way, involving what children get up to online when their parents aren't looking. Mr. Jones will be back, and we'll discover he's way more connected to Olivia's life than we realized. The "Agent Scott" storyline will sort of wrap up soon, but he'll still be a part of Olivia, and the things he reveals will propel the show forward. Every answer will — can you imagine it? — lead to more questions. [Sci Fi Wire]

Two pieces of bad news for Peter/Olivia shippers: Walter will start trying to play "matchmaker" between those crazy kids, which will only make things worse. And worse yet, they may actually be brother and sister. Could a Splinter Of The Mind's Eye moment be in our future? At the very least, Olivia has met Walter before the show's beginning, and questions about his connection to her birth are "the right questions to be asking," says Roberto Orci. [Zap2It and E! Online]

And here are some shots of that happy family at work, from episode 1x13, "The Transformation." (The one written by all the show's major producers, I think.) [Fringe Television]

Smallville:

Yet another DC villain shows up: the Toyman, in episode 1x14, "Requiem":

An explosion at LuthorCorp kills all the Board members and injures Oliver (Justin Hartley), who was there to announce the merger of his company with LutherCorp. Oliver believes that Lex is responsible for the blast, but Clark (Tom Welling) and Lana (Kristin Kreuk) learn that the bomber is Winslow Schott (guest star Chris Gauthier), a toymaker and former Queen Industries employee with a grudge against Oliver.

[KryptonSite]

Chuck:

The final 10 episodes of the season will have three seasons worth of developments, just in case the show doesn't come back. Among the shockers: someone will start figuring out the truth about Chuck's world. And Jordana Brewster will be back as Chuck's ex Jill in the season finale. [EW]

Kyle XY:

I'm still not excited about the Mama-Trager-hurt-in-car-accident storyline. Especially not now that I know Kyle has to take care of her and help a pregnant girl give birth by the roadside. But here are pics. [SpoilerTV]

Eleventh Hour:

Remember this show? Stentorian Rufus Sewell as a cranky science guy? Yeah. Anyway, Mariel Hemingway (!!) will appear later in the season as a woman whose children are taken hostage by a terrorist. [EW]

Knight Rider:

Do you care? Admit it, you kind of do. If so, here's what KITT looks like after his battle with KARR in tonight's episode. More pics at the link. [KRO]

<![CDATA[A Complete List Of Who's Back At The Start Of Lost Season Five]]> Today's extreme spoilers include Land Of The Lost, Push, and Lost images. Permanent death on Heroes! Shocking BSG video and Sarah Connor hints! Transformers! Smallville guest star! Plus Supernatural, Eleventh and Fringe. Mega spoilers!!

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen:

OMG toy spoilers! Some guy got hold of an action figure for Scrapper/Dirtboss, the Transformer that turns into a forklift. And here's his review (skip the first two minutes of him ranting about something or other). [TFW2005]

Land Of The Lost:

Here's new poster for the crazay Will Ferrell vehicle. (Bigger and non-cropped image at link.) [Cinematical]

Push:

And here's a psychedelic poster for the Heroes-esque movie, which opens February. [Filmofilia]

Battlestar Galactica:

The revelation of the final Cylon will be a let-down, Ron Moore promises:

It will never be as powerful as the build-up. I resigned myself to that a long time ago. The "Who Shot JR" of it all is an instructive lesson: No matter who it is, it's still going to be a bit of a letdown. But I decided that precisely because of that, it wasn't going to be in the final episode. I didn't want that to become the entire series. I'm sure there will be a variety of reactions. Some people will love it, some people will hate it. But I think when you see how the revelation fits into the overall mythology of the show, when all the questions are answered by the end, then it'll make sense and you'll think, "Oh, well it kind of had to be that person."

[AMC]

Meanwhile, Tahmoh Penikett hints that Helo dies at the end of BSG. At least, he says letting Helo live would be "kind of predictable," and he said a couple months ago that he had talked Moore out of doing the predicatable thing with Helo. Hmm. There will definitely be some loose ends at the end of the show, Penikett adds. [E! Online]

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles:

You might have noticed daddy Kyle Reese in the trailer that aired after the last episode. Apparently, Kyle plays a big role in the next episode, airing Feb. 14, but won't be a series regular after that. [E! Online]

Lost:

The official descriptions and guest lists for the season's first two episodes came out:

"Because You Left": The remaining island survivors start to feel the effects of the aftermath of moving the island, and Jack and Ben begin their quest to reunite the Oceanic 6 in order to return to the island with Locke's body in an attempt to save their former fellow castaways.
Guest Cast: L. Scott Caldwell as Rose, Sam Anderson as Bernard, Nestor Carbonell as Richard Alpert, William Mapother as Ethan Rom, Francois Chau as Dr. Marvin Candle, Sonya Walger as Penelope "Penny" Widmore, Alan Dale as Charles Widmore, Rebecca Mader as Charlotte Lewis, William Blanchett as Aaron, Sean Whalen as Neil Frogurt, Tom Irwin as Dan Norton, Michael Dempsey as foreman, Stephanie Smart as ticket agent, Leslie Ishii as woman, Cindy Paliracio as TV anchor, Brad Berryhill as anxious guy, Sven Lindstrom as crew member, Chantal Boomla as counter girl, Jeremy Colvin as security guard.

"The Lie": Hurley and Sayid are on the run from the cops after stumbling into trouble at the safehouse; the island survivors come under attack by unknown forces; and an old friend offers some shocking advice to Kate in order to ensure that "the lie" remain a secret.
Guest Cast: Michelle Rodriguez as Ana Lucia, L. Scott Caldwell as Rose, Sam Anderson as Bernard, Sonya Walger as Penelope "Penny" Widmore, Rebecca Mader as Charlotte Lewis, Jeff Fahey as Frank Lapidus, Lillian Hurst as Carmen Reyes, Cheech Marin as David Reyes, William Blanchett as Aaron, Sean Whalen as Neil Frogurt, Tom Connolly as Jones, Mary Mara as Jill, Dana Sorman as Darlene, James Jeremiah as police officer, Stephanie Conching as nurse, Matthew Allan as Cunningham, Todd Bryant as Mattingly.

And apparently sometime during season five, Kate and Aaron will be visiting Cassidy and Clementine, most likely in response to Sawyer's last request to Kate. Also, here are some promo pics from "Because You Left." [The ODI]

Also, there are incredibly blurry photos of some filming on "Hurley's golf course," including some Dharma people and Sawyer. The photographer writes, "I also got to see hurley jack kate." (Do you think "jack" is a verb or a name there?) [SpoilersLost]

Finally, at the tail end of a Carlton/Damon video, there were screencaps showing two new characters, Caesar and Ilana. [The ODI]

Heroes:

So we weren't the only ones confused about that Sylar-related spoiler the other day. Turns out Sylar is only on a quest for his real parents, not his powers. Sylar has lost his powers (for the second time), but he'll get them back before too long. Phew, that's a relief. [E! Online]

Also, Adam/Kensei is really, really, really, reaaaaallly dead. [TV Guide]

Fringe:

A new trailer you might not have seen:

Smallville:

Screw Maxima and the Legion — in episode 8x14, we finally get to meet a crucial figure in the Superman mythos. I'm referring, of course, to jerky reporter/sportscaster Steve Lombard, who'll be played by Ray Galletti. [KryptonSite]

So we mentioned that in the episode "Hex," Chloe gets turned into Lois, and she shared a meaningful look with Clark while in Lois' body. Turns out there's more to it than that. Chloe gets put into Lois' body because she wishes she had Lois' "easy" life, and a magician (Zatanna, probably) grants her wish. At the end of the episode, Chloe comes to an epiphany. And Clark gets a wish too. (To make people forget him revealing his true identity? Or something else?) [TV Guide]

And here's a new trailer for the next episode, "Legion." [OSCK]

Supernatural:

If you're sad about the amount of screentime Jared Padalecki has gotten lately, rejoice. The next two episodes are equal parts Sam and Dean, and then the third episode features tons of emotional upheaval for both teen Sam and grown-up Sam. [TV Guide]

Eleventh Hour:

Good news for everyone who's tired of Rufus Sewell's two-note performance. He gets a third note in "H2O," the Jan. 16 episode: psycho! "An epidemic of sudden, violent outbursts by law-abiding citizens draws Dr. Jacob Hood to a quiet Texas community to investigate - but he soon succumbs to the same erratic behavior." [SpoilerTV]

<![CDATA[Does Science Drama Fail, Even When It Wins?]]> Scientist adventure show Eleventh Hour, which garnered top ratings and has in recent weeks gotten genuinely fun to watch, may become proof that scifi can't win on TV. Even when the audience is huge.

This week rumors zoomed about how several writers had gotten laid off from the show. CBS is unexpectedly reducing how many episodes it wants from the series, even though it is one of the network's only new shows to become a hit.

According to TV Guide:

The CBS drama is actually safe ... for now. Apparently, the layoffs were a simple case of supply and demand. The writers had worked ahead a few scripts and the show got a reduced back-end pickup (five episodes versus the expected nine), so there wasn't enough work to justify all those talented scribes. If Eleventh gets a second season, they'll probably staff up again.

<![CDATA[Things Improve on "Eleventh Hour" with Flesh-Eating STDs]]> CBS' hit science escapism show Eleventh Hour has blossomed over the last two weeks, getting weirder, more futuristic, and pushing a "scientists are better than jocks" agenda. Spoilers ahead.

Last week's episode was positively endearing in its bizarreness. Though there are (thankfully) never conspiracies on Eleventh Hour, the episode "Spring Break Sucks" did give us a mystery flesh-eating bacteria that was clearly synthetic. And it was sexually transmitted. So there was a kind of nasty satisfaction in watching the skin get eaten off all the douchebags who date-raped drunk chicks. And there was a pro-condom message, as you can see in this awesome clip. I want to live in a universe where condoms protect against flesh-eating bacteria.

Turns out the synthetic bacteria was created by a NASA scientist who was getting revenge on the spring break douches who raped his daughter - causing her botched suicide attempt, which sent her into permanent vegetable land. Even more randomly cool was that he'd synthesized a bacteria that was a combination of the flesh-eater and something that would cause humans to go into suspended animation. Why did they need to throw that suspended animation thing in there? NO REASON EXCEPT FOR WEIRD SCIENCE COOLNESS. And that is why Eleventh Hour is slowly finding a place in my black heart.

The episode two weeks back, Titans, was just as gratuitously random in its researchers-gone-wildness. And it also had an anti-jock, pro-nerd message. Two sports medicine researchers start testing out their muscle-boosting serum on the siblings of the school's jocks to see if it will work on "non essential" people whose DNA is similar to their targets. Of course things go horribly wrong, and most of the siblings die. But one survives by getting put into a pressurized tank (the serum causes people to get the bends). Tank boy, it turns out, is a really talented engineer - and our geek hero Hood gives him a cool lecture about how being an engineer is just as important as being a jock. Awwww.

Now that the science is getting weirder, and the pro-rationality message has become almost Dick Dawkins-esque, we're going to give this already-popular show another chance.

<![CDATA[Keanu Reeves Gives Away Earth Stood Still's Ending]]> We tried hard to abstain from toy spoilers, but some new G.I. Joe toy pics are just too good not to post. But we also have rock star spoilers, as Gerard Way talks Watchmen. Meanwhile, Keanu Reeves may have given away the ending of The Day The Earth Stood Still. And there are big changes afoot for Davis and Clark on Smallville. All this, plus spoilers and hints for Doctor Who, Lost, Torchwood, Benjamin Button, Dragonball, Heroes, Eleventh Hour and Pushing Daisies. Just remember, if you're high enough up in the air, everything looks like a toy spoiler.

G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra:

Well, I lasted three days without posting any toy spoilers. Here are some MARS figures that are tie-ins with the new film. More pics at the link. [ToyArk via IESB]

Watchmen:

My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way says his band's Bob Dylan cover is integral to the ending of the movie. And he weighs in on the controversial changes to the graphic novel's ending:

I personally loved the giant squid – and I’ve always loved giant squids – but from what I’m hearing, the changes he’s made reels it into the actual characters, and actually, in some ways, makes more sense.

[MTV]

The Day The Earth Stood Still:

Keanu Reeves says the film is about "the human character, human nature, the fact that it is only when our backs are up against the wall that we do anything to change our behavior." Sounds as though the film ends with humans promising to stop trashing the environment, in exchange for Keanu not smiting us. He also says:

In our film, Klaatu is making a judgment about whether the human species will live or die, although it is much more than an eco message. Klaatu says: “Your backs are against the wall, you have to change the way you are or cease to exist.”

And he adds that Klaatu starts out totally alien and then slowly learns to relate to humans. [Business Mirror]

And here's a new behind-the-scenes featurette on the film, featuring a bit more footage and the stars talking about it. Keanu gives away more of the film's ending, when he says nobody can withstand Jennifer Connelly's puppy-dog eyes, not even an alien. A similar featurette, with slightly different footage, aired on Entertainment Tonight, and you can view that version here. Plus there's a new international trailer. [IGN]

Dragonball:

It's rumored this film's title has changed to Dragonball Evolution. [DBTheMovie]

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button:

Cinemablend has already seen this movie and their review includes a few spoilers. There's a framing device, involving Cate Blanchett's character Daisy on her death bed, reminiscing about her love affair with Benjamin Button. It's the eve of Hurricane Katrina. Daisy's daughter reads from Button's diary, learning about her real father, who was born old and aged backwards. Everyone predicts the elderly baby will die from age-related ailments, but instead he thrives. His father abandons him, so he gets adopted by a woman who works at an old folks home, where he fits right in. Eventually, he de-ages enough to hobble out of his wheelchair and get on a tugboat. and the film skips over the question of what happens to Button when he looks like a teenager but is really old. (Something the Fitzgerald story, incidentally, dwells on.) [Cinemablend]

Doctor Who:

Penelope Wilton, who played the former Prime Minister Harriet Jones, says that "when you are exterminated on Doctor Who, chances are that you are not dead at all. I could simply have gone to another galaxy. You never know – I might make a return." I so want her to team up with Sarah Jane and fight aliens together. [Planet Gallifrey]

Lost:

More Dharma-centric filming? Someone came across a scene involving Kate, Hurley and a VW camper. [SpoilersLost]

And here are some promo pics showing that the cast is, indeed, still pretty. [Lyly Ford]

Torchwood:

Not much of a spoiler, but I listened to a whole podcast to get to it. Gareth David-Lloyd says it's conceivable the fourth (missing) Torchwood office is in Toronto, and he'd be up for doing a storyline set there. [Hardcore Nerdity]

Heroes:

As we mentioned, episode 3x17, "Cold War," is all about HRG, along the lines of "Company Man." And there's an intense sequence where HRG and Matt are locked in a "mental intense interrogation," and they're both out of breath and trying not to faint. They almost pass out. And HRG has some scenes with Nathan as well. [Heroes Television]

Does Peter get his powers back? Hmmm. Well, Greg Grunberg just Twittered this pic of Milo Ventimiglia preparing to do some kind of flying stunt. Click to enlarge. [Heroes Spoilers]

Fringe:

Episode 11 will be called "Bound" and will air on Jan. 20. [SpoilerTV]

Smallville:

The new Sci Fi Magazine includes some spoilers. Chloe and Jimmy will try to manage life after their wedding but it won't be easy. Doomsday's story doesn't end well, as you can imagine. And Tess will unleash her army of supervillains at some point. Also, Clark has a harder time making a new hero identity for himself, because his identity as Clark Kent is already a lie in a sense. Depending on whether there's a ninth season, the eighth season will either end with a heroic sendoff, or a heartbreaking decision for Clark. [SVGurl]

In the Jan. 15 episode, maybe you see Clark flying. Or maybe he's just leaping a tall building in a single bound. [TV Guide]

A new Doomsday-centric mid-year trailer includes a tantalizing shot of a Davis-cicle inside the compromised Fortress of Solitude. [OSCK]

Pushing Daisies:

No clue when the last episodes will air, but when the show's run ends prematurely, you'll have learned the answer to one long-term mystery, which should be a big relief for Mr. Emerson Cod. Also, Olive Snook sings a Bangles song. [TV Guide]

And here's the summary for episode 2x10, "The Norwegians":

Chuck's Aunt Vivian tries to hire Emerson to find her missing boyfriend Dwight and when he declines, she hires a group of three Norwegian private detectives. The Norwegians and Emerson and Ned have a long history of rivalry. Emerson later spies on the group of three and sees Olive seeming to be in cahoots with them. Olive and the Norwegians find a note written in Chuck's Aunt Lily's handwriting implicating her in the disappearance as well.

[SpoilerTV]

Eleventh Hour:

This mad-science investigation show chugs along. There's a casting call for episode 13, "Minimata." Local people in Flint Michigan get sick and go blind, possibly due to mercury poisoning. One helicopter newscaster gets poisoned and crashes his chopper during a broadcast. And then the newscaster's wife also goes blind and then finds out she's pregnant. Meanwhile, there's a dairy farmer who's covering up the deaths of several cows. (Does every episode of this show feature an evil farmer?) And there's an antique junk dealer. [SpoilerTV]

<![CDATA[Eleventh Hour Gets Fourteenth Through Eighteenth Hours As Well]]> It may not be a favorite around these here parts, but Eleventh Hour has proven popular enough with the rest of America to be given a full-season order by CBS... Well, an almost full season, anyway.

Variety reported Monday that CBS has given an order for the "back five" episodes of the season - bringing the season total to eighteen episodes, instead of the more common twenty-two. The reason for the shorter season, according to the report, is the network's unhappiness at the show's lack of success in holding onto the audience of CSI, the show that precedes it on Thursday evenings. Despite this, Eleventh Hour is the second most popular new show on television this season (The Mentalist is #1), with 12 million viewers on average each episode... making the Eye Network look more than a little stingy in shorting on the season.

<![CDATA[Klaatu's Ultimate Goal And Smallville's Legion Villain — Revealed!]]> Welcome to Black Friday. We've collected a shocking number of spoilers to fortify you before your shopping rampage. Including exactly what Keanu Reeves is up to in the Day The Earth Stood Still remake, and what Hugh Jackman says will happen in Wolverine 2. Plus, Geoff Johns totally gave away the identity of the villain who fights the Legion in an upcoming Smallville. Plus, we find out which dead Lost characters we'll be seeing again, what Jack gets up to in Torchwood, and just who might be dying in Heroes. All this, plus spoilers and pics from The Road, Transformers 2, Fringe, Battlestar Galactica, Eleventh Hour, Pushing Daisies, Stargate Atlantis, Kyle XY and Chuck. Spoilers are fortifying!

The Day The Earth Stood Still:

IESB visited the set of the Keanu-anchored remake, and has a few new deets. Klaatu travels across the universe to warn us of an impending global crisis, but military leaders insist on treating him like a threat and deny his request to address the world's leaders. So Helen (Jennifer Connelly) and her stepson Jacob (Jaden Smith) discover the "deadly ramifications" of Klaatu's claim to be a friend to the Earth. They have to convince Klaatu that humanity is worth saving, but it's already too late — the "process has begun."

In one scene, Klaatu is in restraints in some kind of Army decontamination chamber. Helen comes in and Dr. Granier (Jon Hamm) tells Helen that Klaatu is dreaming. Then Klaatu kicks at his restraints. Granier tells Helen that "it" recognizes her, and she should speak to "it." Helen leans in and tells Klaatu her name, and says he has "nothing to fear from us." Klaatu repeats her last few words slowly: "Fear... from... us..."

John Cleese plays a serious role as the guy who makes the argument for humanity's right to survive. Also, the "sexual tension" between Klaatu and Helen is being saved for the sequel, director Scott Derrickson jokes... I think. [IESB]

Wolverine:

Here are a couple new promo pics of our furry, knife-handy friend. Click to enlarge. [TheMovieBlog]

Meanwhile, Hugh Jackman says he'd like the second Wolverine solo film to deal with his character going to Japan and messing around with Yakuza and samurai. [MTV]

The Road:

Here are a couple of new pics, which look as haunting and bleak as all the others we've seen. [IGN]

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen:

Our day is not complete without toy spoilers. Here's a tiny pic of what purports to be the movie version of Wreckage, a Decepticon, repainted in its original concept colors. [TFW2005]

Lost:

Which dead characters will be back next season? Christian Shephard will appear at some point during the season — but that wasn't him running amongst the extras in the trailer. Meanwhile, Claire isn't a regular during the fifth season, but we will see her at some point during the season. (And of course, she's back for all of season six.) As for Charlie, actor Dominic Monaghan says he's talked to the producers a bit about how his character could come back. But it's all up in the air, for now. [E! Online]

Here's a longer version of that new season five trailer, including a few new Desmond bits. [Doc Arzt]

Torchwood:

What's happening in the third, shorter, season of the Doctor Who spinoff? Says John Barrowman:

Well, you'll find out more about Jack's dark past and a lot about Gwen too. There's going to be some deaths, some new faces, some surprises and an event that will almost destroy the world. There's also going to be a shocking event instigated by Jack that people will be totally floored by.

Also, the dearly departed Tosh and Owen get mentioned. [Planet Gallifrey]

Fringe:

Ari Graynor (Sopranos, Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist) is joining the show as Olivia's younger sister, who's dealing with some man trouble back home and needs to crash at Olivia's place for a few weeks. The exact nature of the man trouble isn't clear — but she brings a little kid with her. She'll be in at least three episodes, starting in January. [EW]

Battlestar Galactica:

It's been a few days since we shared any quotes from a BSG castmember about how the final episodes will reupholster your couch and put hair on your chest. So here's James Callis, talking to the L.A. Times:

It's quite — do we use the phrase "space opera"? There is something operatic about the ending of the show, only in the sense that it's like a full orchestra. Imagine very single person in the cast represents an instrument, and you've heard their theme or fugue. And then all the instruments play together. Everybody involved in this thing together — it's like the '1812 Overture.' Not only have you got all of the violins and the flutes, you've also got the flipping cannons they brought off Napoleon's ship, blowing off the roof. It's going off with a bang, this thing... Honestly you can't be disappointed. I think if Adolf Hitler were back, he'd be crying in his handkerchief.

So there you go. BSG's ending is bawling-Hitler good. [L.A. Times]

Heroes:

Fans are speculating that Sandra Bennett will die, and that will force HRG to abandon his morals. (What morals?) And that Peter will get his "empathic mimickry" back by the end of the next episode... and the first power Peter gains will be Samedi's invulnerable skin. Too bad Peter tries to use his new steel-hard skin to protect the Haitian and Nathan from gunfire, forgetting that powers don't work when the Haitian is around. Also, here's a clip from Monday's episode, featuring Seth Green and those wacky comic-store kids. [2 Comic Book Store Guys]

Matt Parkman actor Greg Grunberg posted some pictures via his Twitter feed. It looks like Matt and Peter turn into mutants, and Ando gets an awesome all-female posse. [Greg-Grunberg]

Smallville:

The identity of the villain that Clark and the Legion Of Super Heroes will face in the Jan. 15 episode? The Persuader. Says writer Geoff Johns: "He’s this futuristic assassin, he’s dressed like an executioner, and he has one of the coolest weapons, an axe that could slice an atom in half. He can slice Clark, so he can slice anything." Dude! Also, the show will have built up to a huge climax in the Doomsday/Chloe storyline, and then the Legion shows up and complicates everything further. The show is full of Legion mythology, but is friendly to casual viewers. It asks questions like: "Do you make your own destiny? Is it written in stone? Do your heroes live up to your expectatons?" [MTV]

And here's an extended version of that midseason trailer. [OSCK]

Kyle XY:

This superteen family show is back in January, so it's almost time for me to write a giant rant about why everyone should give it a chance. This season, the evil science group Latnok will finally reveal itself to Kyle, and he'll get a new love interest. Plus, the Tragers will get a new house guest, and it's the last person Amanda wants under the same roof as Kyle. (Jessi?) [TV Guide]

Chuck:

Here's a new promo from Monday's episode.

And here are some clips, plus interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. [Multiple Verses]

Eleventh Hour:

Good times ahead, in the show's Dec. 11 episode, "Flesh":

When co-eds on spring break fall prey to a flesh-eating bacteria, Dr. Jacob Hood searches for the cause and a cure.

[SpoilerTV]

Stargate Atlantis:

In the show's final episode, "Enemy At The Gate,"

The Atlantis team rushes to destroy an advanced wraith hive ship before it presents a threat to the Earth.

[SpoilerTV]

Pushing Daisies:

Here are hints about the next two episodes, airing in early December:

Episode 2.08 - Comfort Food [Dec. 3]: We see a young Ned at boarding school, making and enjoying pies and a party with the other boys before getting in trouble with the headmaster. Chuck and Ned prepare to un-dead her father for a minute to learn about a mysterious, possibly dangerous man named Dwight. They argue about who should question him first. When it comes time for Ned to touch him and re-dead him, Chuck comes up with a deadly plan to keep him alive without Ned’s knowledge. Ned and Olive compete in a food cooking competition that they lost two years ago and one of the contestants is murdered.

Episode 2.09 - The Legend of Merle McQuoddy [Dec. 10]: Olive and Emerson investigate the strange death of lighthouse keeper Nora McQuoddy. Ned finds out Chuck’s father is “alive” and they have to deal with the repercussions.

[SpoilerFix]

And here's the official description for the Dec. 17 episode, "The Norwegians":

When Emerson turns down Vivian's request to look into the sudden disappearance of Dwight Dixon (Stephen Root), she turns to another PI team, lead by Emerson's bitter rival, Magnus Olsdatter (guest star Orlando Jones). Magnus and his cohorts are relentless Norwegian gumshoes, ejected from their own country, whose snooping may reveal all of Ned's and Chuck's secrets.

<![CDATA[A G.I. Joe Showdown, A Lost Episode Breakdown]]> Greetings, spoiler fanatics! We've finally gotten a non-blurry picture of a certain Transformers toy. Plus, a callsheet for a crucial Lost episode turned up, and it gives away a whole bushel of shocking plot twists. A G.I. Joe actor explained all about the movie's crucial ninja showdown. Plus there are some major hints for Dollhouse, Heroes, Sarah Connor, Smallville, Pushing Daisies, Chuck, Reaper, Eleventh Hour, Fringe, Supernatural, The Survivors and the Wonder Woman DVD movie. We spoil because we love!

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen:

Finally! Some non-blurry images of the Soundwave toy. We were about to need an ophthalmologist. More pics at the link. [TFW2005]

G.I. Joe:

Storm Shadow does fight Snake Eyes in the movie, says actor Byung Hun-Lee. He explains:

Yes, they have grown up together actually, like brothers, but there is a big misunderstanding between them. So even though they have grown up together, they become rivals, so they have to fight. It's kind of their destiny. I cannot talk about the twist, but the relationship between him and Snake Eyes — the dynamic between them — should be one of the most interesting points of the film.

[IGN]

Lost:

OMG major spoilers! A leaked callsheet provides tons of details for episode 5.04, "The Little Prince." Our characters are jumping between 2004 and 2007, and then later 1989, and there are nosebleeds aplenty for Charlotte and later Juliet. Locke wants to go back to the Orchid. And then Sawyer watches Kate help Claire give birth. and Miles gets a nosebleed.

Meanwhile, at St. Stephen's Hospital, Jack resigns, Sayid doesn't trust Ben, and Tony attacks Sayid. Also, Jack wants to see Kate, and Ben admits he's been trying to take Aaron away. Kate is having it out with Ben, and then Sun shows up with a gun and they discuss the fact that Jin isn't dead. Ben takes Sun to see proof of Jin being alive. Plus there's more. Read it for yourself below. [SpoilersLost]

Meanwhile, slightly less Earth-shattering news. A big Hungarian guy will be playing a doctor who walks past Jack in the hallway. And he might be in more than one episode. [SpoilersLost]

Dollhouse:

There's a casting call for the ninth episode of Joss Whedon's brainwashed super-agent show, the final one of the batch the network has ordered so far. We meet the Bashford family: Margaret, a gracefully aging beauty; Jack Dunstan, Margaret's much younger husband; Nicholas, Margaret's ne'er-do-well son; Jocelyn, Margaret's pretty but arrogant daughter; and William, Margaret's hard-drinking ex-playboy estranged brother. [SpoilerTV]

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles:

Does Brian Austin Green know something we don't? In a new interview, he hints that he may not be on the Terminator show for the long haul. (Assuming there is a long haul.) Green says he won't be playing Derek Reese forever, and adds: "My job now is to try and create other memorable characters and move on." He also sounds a bit blase about the show, compared with earlier interviews where he was super enthusiastic. [BuddyTV]

Heroes:

One of our main characters will die soon, and this will put an end to one of the show's big love stories right now. (Daphne maybe?) Also, there will be tons of deaths coming later, maybe at the end of the "Villains" storyline or during "Fugitives." Hunter (Zeljko Ivanek) loads a bunch of the heroes onto a transport plane, which then crashes. Several of the heroes die in the crash. Angela Petrelli won't be on that plane, but it sounds like Matt Parkman might be. [E! Online]

Here's how "Villains" ends, according to the official synopsis of "War." Bear in mind that Arthur Petrelli apparently dies in the previous episode:

In the aftermath of the showdown against Arthur Petrelli, the Petrelli brothers (Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia) find themselves battling against one another and Nathan makes a move that will have global repercussions. Meanwhile, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) holds Claire (Hayden Panettiere), H.R.G. (Jack Coleman), Meredith (guest star Jessalyn Gilsig) and Angela (Cristine Rose) hostage at Primatech and a face-off ensues. Elsewhere, Ando (James Kyson Lee), Matt (Greg Grunberg) and Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) continue their attempts rescue Hiro (Masi Oka) — and Dr. Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) may be their only hope.

[Heroes News And Spoilers]

And you will get a satisfying resolution to the "Villains" storyline, Tim Kring promises. [Sci Fi Wire]

Smallville:

Neither Chloe nor Doomsday are in their right minds, says Sam Witwer. And Davis doesn't have any control over his Doomsday side right now. He's definitely in the rest of the season and might be in the following season, and there is a long-term Doomsday plotline in the works. [E! Online]

Meanwhile, John Glover probably won't be back, ever. [E! Online]

Chuck:

You notice how everybody from Chuck's past is a spy, and the mysterious Fulcrum organization is involved in all of it? This "mythology" will be explored, promises producer Chris Fedak. Also, in "Chuck Vs. The DeLorean," Morgan wants to buy an old barely operating DeLorean, which he wants to call the DeMorgan. [Sci Fi Wire]

What's coming next for Lester? Vik Sakhay says:

We're going to have situations where you again see Lester be granted status and a spotlight, and then see how he handles it. He's being confronted with himself more and more. It's a burning, slow reveal of who this guy is and how he handles himself in circumstances he thinks he wants to be in.

[TV Guide]

Fringe:

Anna Torv talks about playing Olivia. [Fringe Television]

Also Jasika Nicole provides a tour of the set here, but I didn't see any spoilers. [Fringe Television again]

Wonder Woman:

Here are some new pics from the direct-to-DVD animated movie. [Warner Bros.]

Survivors:

Here's the official description of the miniseries' sixth and final episode:

Abby and her friends find themselves on the run from Samantha and Dexter, who've formed a dangerous alliance that threatens everyone's freedom... Meanwhile, Sarah is confronted by a face from the past which leads her to betray her new friends.

When Naj goes missing, the family is forced to face the dangers of the city in order to find him. Their food and water supplies have been stolen from their car by desperate urban survivors, so they know they may not be able to survive long enough to find Naj. The family is nearly torn apart when Greg and Abby find themselves on opposite sides of an argument.

Meanwhile, Naj is befriended by a feral boy named Darren. Darren lives with the sinister Craig and June, who look after a group of children who forage amidst the ruins of the city, in return for shelter and protection.

Naj soon sees that Craig is ruthlessly exploiting Darren and the others but, without Abby, he faces a struggle to save himself. With his adopted family searching for him in the deserted city, time is rapidly running out and Dexter is only a step behind them all...

[BBC via SurvivorsBBC]

Supernatural:

Here's what happens in "Sex And Violence," the episode we showed you some casting pages from: "Both Sam and Dean make new friends, and one of the boys gets laid. Later Sam and Dean fight each other, but not over the girl—over a guy!" [E! Online]

Pushing Daisies:

In the next few episodes, Aunt Lily makes sure Mr. Dwight Dixon doesn't get too comfortable in Coeur d'Coeurs. Meanwhile, Ned and Olive get some one-on-one time when they enter a cook-off together, because they get locked in a trunk together, within smooching space. [E! Online]

Reaper:

Sock gets a shot with a shape-shifting demon who can become any supermodel his heart desires — but this comes with some strings attached. [E! Online]

Eleventh Hour:

The show gets a new character: an FBI agent named Felix, who thinks Jacob's a genius and has a crush on Rachel. Is this a love triangle in the making? [E! Online]

<![CDATA[Which TV Shows Are You Actually Watching?]]> Pushing Daisies is falling off our screens, and many other promising science fiction shows are teetering on the edge of cancellation as well. Blame the Nielsen box, the most fail-ridden technology in history. The networks don't actually know what you, the real people, are watching, but that doesn't mean you don't count. We're curious — which current TV shows are you actually watching?

<![CDATA[Smallville's Big Wedding Day, Plus A Must-See Stargate Atlantis]]> It's the most nerdtastic week ever, as Pushing Daisies finally returns, we get a Walter-filled Fringe, Chloe marries her little Jimmy, and scientists fill the sets of Stargate Atlantis, including Dave Foley who plays McKays arch nemesis. Seriously if there was a better yin to McKay's yang, I can't think of one. Also Jar Jar Binks is pratfalling all the way to rescuing Padme in this weeks Clone Wars — hey, you never know — this could be the episode he gets mercilessly tortured in.

Monday:

This week we may finally get some answers in Sarah Connor Chronicles. After last week's Mexican fiasco, it seems the team is hungry for some answers, and Sarah has to spill the beans on what she's done to change the course of fate.
