Best of all, she's someone you've already seen in the movies. Elizabeth Banks played long-suffering Daily Bugle secretary Betty Brant in the first few films, but only had a small role in each one. Now she's a big star, thanks to W and Zack and Miri Make A Porno, among other things. She told CHUD she'll only return to Spider-Man if it's a bigger role, which sounds good to us. After all, Betty had a pretty great run of storylines in the early Spidey comics, including her gangsta brother, and Banks would bring some needed zing to the franchise. [CHUD]
