@Cash907Censored: ain't that the truth. While it was GREAT to see bits from the fabulous first season, it was still a clip show that really added NOTHING to the season, even with the birth of Alison's baby. Although, it was nice to see Alison at least hint that she pictured a future with Jack, at some point....
I know this is a waste of time for those true blue Eureka haters out there but I would hope that shows like Eureka would stop getting dumped on by the 'intelegencia' or wannabe scientists, or just plain frustrated with life in general.
Shows like Eureka (IMHO) serve at the very least as entertainment or gateway shows that people (except those harping and whining about how unreal Eureka's science is) not that into the SCIENCE of science fiction to enjoy a story at an emotional level and experience, which in turn, will help lead them into other types of genres within science fiction.
We need more shows like Eureka not less and while complaining about this plot hole or that character development (or lack thereof) is always fair game - just make the point and stop with the petulant hate.
The SYFY channel has enough programming and scheduling problems, let's be part of the solution not part of the problem.
Really was a terrible episode last night...losing Ed Quinn really damaged the show more than I originally thought. Also, Fargo's become such a joke that I can't take the show even remotely seriously anymore.
I could live with a musical(if I have to), but a clip show? Really?
As much as I love the show, the clip show served to remind me how much better it used to be. And why were there no clips of Taggart, who is coming back next episode?
I have to admit that, by the end, I *almost* wanted Andy to stay as sheriff.
They *have* to bring Andy back in later episodes. It will be a lot of fun to see him doing something other than being the sheriff, but keeping the same cool and funny disposition.
Oh... almost forgot. There's a piece of dialogue that I didn't catch. What did Allison say when Andy asked why Carter was risking his life?
I believe what Andy actually said was: "Why is he doing this? It's not his job"
And then Allison said something but I didn't catch it, even on repeat viewings.
i didnot read the post as i didnot want to see a spoiler but i did want to say i like this show.
i go on vacation for the next few weeks and i am bringing my eurekas to watch and catchup while my friends i am visiting are at work.
when i come back i will watch these new episodes.hope the show is worth the extra wait they did on us.
Charlie, I know two episodes isn't really representative of the rest of the season, but do they have any of those really annoying Degree type things worked into the show?
Andy doesn't have GM tattooed all over him does he?
If science is the dispassionate pursuit of objective truth, then it stands to reason that mad science is the completely irrational pursuit of a nutty project that the rest of the world will never truly understand.
huh. I just got an email from SyFy reminding me with a big ad that this is back tonight and Nathan Stark is featured rather prominently for a dead character.

(spoiler) Zoe got to do something important and save the day for a change. She certainly has grown up on this show.

First time I can ever remember being disappointed with Eureka.
