one might venture that it's ungentlemanly to call any lady (or indeed chap), a bitch. Unless they ask nicely and take some dark pleasure from it, of course. But no more of that here ...

    Quality entertainment.
I recommend Lady Terminator as the other half of the double feature.

Just wondering, if she'd bitten off his, uh, well, a part of his anatomy, wouldn't there have been a lot of blood on her mouth? Of course, I guess, what with her mechanical reflexes and all, she could have cleaned up just before the other guys busted open the door

    I'm just saying.

I remember seeing this when originally released. We misread the title as "Eva Destruction" and thought "What a GREAT drag name!"

I continue to stand by that assertion.

Renée Soutendijk is respected Dutch actress and tried really hard with this film (what's that old joke about trying to turn chicken sh*t into chicken salad?) She was good in "The Fourth Man" and very good in "Spetters".

@Julius Seizure. (the CANUCK one): She does seem like a good actress. In the clip she really seems to buy into the role completely, which cannot have been easy.

@Julius Seizure. (the CANUCK one): I saw her in "The Fourth Man" when I was in high school - where she actually has a scene that is somewhat similar to this one - and it completely warped my brain.

In the movie A.I. the robots were very life-like (obviously) but there those moments when they would give their 'not-quite-human' selves away because of a pause in a facial expression or strange body movement. Not exactly scary but when you've been lulled into complacency around them and then you're suddenly reminded that you're dealing with a soulless machine has to be somewhat unsettling. And then you're lulled back into your comfort zone when they offer to get you a mojito from the bar! humans=fail
