    I'm pretty scared to see the movie. Such a great book that I don't really want to have my memory of it tarnished.

    That being said, Nick Cave and Warren Ellis' score is fucking brilliant (as usual).

    I'm not a big comic book reader but I may have to track these down just to follow Liara's story line. I loved Mass Effect and I think it shows that great science fiction isn't limited to books or movies.

    @laikapants: Thanks for the tip. I usually don't buy the special/ultimate/collector's edition of games but I may have to break down for this one. The special armor and weapons alone would be worth $10 to me.

    Pretty sure it's not true Aubrey. I'm a huge book nerd, and I'd never heard of it before the movie was announced. Besides that, the book just isn't that good, to be totally honest. The painfully slow pace made "Atlas Shrugged" feel like a Michael Bay film. I'm sure people are going to disagree with me, but I say this out of contrast: how many people have you talked to that didn't like the Harry Potter books?

    I am totally pissed that they are not showing this near me. I read the book and loved it so much I gave it to my mother, who also loved it and tried to get my literature challenged brother to read it. Both of us have been looking forward to seeing this for ages. Bastards. I hope they get eaten.

    @Ruthless, If you let me: Filmed here and shown here are two very different things. I don't think he has any say in what movies the theaters show here and I don't know who to talk to at the theaters. But you did just give me an idea about an art house theater.
