the trailer is well constructed by the idea of nathan fillion in another leading role is abhorant. one of the few flaws with firefly was the lead male was easily the worst actor in the bunch and i'd hate to see that happen to a green lantern movie as well.

@tetracycloide: what!? no way. I'm not defending Fillion because I thought he was a great actor in Firefly...oh wait.

Worse actor than Fillion? Sean Maher. No doubt. Talk about a one-dimensional character with little to no appeal. You say Fillion was worse than him?? So be it, but I daresay Fillion was darn near excellent in that show.

@acrobatic rabbit_R.O.A.C.H.: appeal is irrelevant to talent, fillion never once left wink + impish grin = let's see how this plays out mode as a character that was occasionally supposed to be serious. personally i don't enjoy the occasionally obvious parody of what his character would really be doing that fillion brings to most of his roles. on the up side it means he's perfect for dr. horrible stuff.

Nathan Fillion would make an excellent Hal Jordan.

I know it goes against Hollywood's belief system, but this is a perfect example of something I've been saying for years. Superheroes should be in their mid 30s, not kids just out of their teens. Teen Titans are teens. Not the Justice League.

When Chris Hemsworth was recently cast as Thor, I thought, this kid's what? 25? Way too young to be playing the thunder god. Maybe Kenneth Branagh can make it work, but I'll wait for proof.

Nathan has had a few interesting roles over the years, but to me he feels like a better fit for Guy Gardner than Hal Jordan. Not that he couldn't play Hal, just that he's a natural for Guy. Also, not that I'd ever want to see a movie featuring Guy, just that if they absolutely had to do that because someone was (literally) holding a gun to their collective heads, he'd be the one to call.

I was much more impressed with these things (and music videos) when people had to make them from VHS tape and edit with the hardware, not software.
