In the D.C. section, isn't the characters name OZymandius, not Oxymandius? I think the later is a product hawked by that loud annoying Billy guy late at night.
The best part of this post is the link to Dean of Springfield Punx. On his site, he's got alternate LOST drawings, a great "House" drawing (make it happen, FOX), Indiana Jones, and even Craig Ferguson with hand puppets.
@Evil Tortie's Mom: R.O.A.C.H.: I'd agree they're a bit more stylized than some of the others, but I really love the little details in the BSG drawings. OK, actually having all the Cylons eating toast isn't exactly a little detail, but it made me smile.
There's "stylized" and there's "not that close at all, really." If it weren't for the outfits and labels, I'd have no idea who half of those BSG ones were.
@Evil Tortie's Mom: R.O.A.C.H.: Glad it started working for you. You wouldn't believe how many problems we went through trying to cram over 100 images into a single post. I'm just glad we got the thing off the ground at all.
@Alasdair Wilkins: I can imagine. At what point, though, does adding umpty billion images from someone else's site (sans umpty billion linkbacks, though i guess *one* is more than zero) go from being a good idea to a bad idea? Maybe the gawker hampsters were trying to tell you something.
@zerofritz: You know, you have a point. I've added a couple more link backs to the main page in that vein. I probably could have done more, but at least there is attribution for everything, if not links.
I loved the Simpsons. Loved = Past. Now I turn to Family Guy for my kicks. It doesnt mean b ant standards ive stopped watching the simpsons. Sky1 or C4 show some oldies and frankly goldies once in a while and im glued. Dag me away if you dare!! But for todays TV purile and downright naughty sort of does it for me. Team America made me laugh so hard I prolapsed!!!! Think of me what you will. But Simpson doesnt push the envelope enough for me anymore. Its just a case of 'What star this week' syndrome. Personally tuning in for The Prime Minister or Ricky Gervas doesnt cut the mustard. And it pains me because such a good show is being overshadowed by a show that WAS cancelled on Fox network. But it goes to show, you can pull yourself back, and Seth Macfarlen is a genius. Simpsons has got a bit stale!!
@CoffinDodger: Things don't have to be edgy to be funny. It's the major downfall of Family Guy. They try too hard to be funny instead of actually thinking of jokes for the show. Just look at Futurama, some of the funniest episodes are ones that don't have any edge to them.
When THE SIMPSONS movie came out, there was a website where you could get a photograph "simpsonized". I have no idea how it was done, whether it was somehow automated or whether there were four dozen artists in India cranking the artwork out. Here's one that was done of me from the photograph I use for my postings here.
Boy you must have had to dive deep for the pic for this post. I'm scrolling through all the galleries and file lists for this and its like the most amazing compendium of drawings done by 12 year old boys when no one is looking.

It was fun, but the hand drawn stuff in the galleries you linked to are definitely superior.
